That's a wrap! After six months of expert mentorship from Adam Forbes, Laura Barrio and John Raine, CNF has completed the Shell StartUp Engine Programme. Over the course of the programme we spent time with mentors from within the low-carbon fuels team, learning about the set up of the aviation fuel market in the UK and globally, as well as having the opportunity to develop our business model and technical offering. It was invaluable to have untapped access to such a talented bunch of people from the Shell and Startupbootcamp teams, helping shape the direction of CNF. A HUGE thank you to all of the mentors and organisers, and a special mention to Zoe Heed for keeping us on track and achieving our best!

Two visits in two months to the brilliant Topsoe Team! In October, the CNF team headed out to Topsoe's test centre in Denmark to learn more about their unique technology, including a really insightful tour of their lab space plus hearing about the latest advancements in e-methanol and Methanol-to-Jet (MtJ). And this week our Project Director Matt Norman attended the Topsoe SAF Summit 2024, meeting a host of dynamic leaders in the Power-to-Liquid aviation fuel sector. It's really exciting to see the gathering momentum around sustainable aviation fuels. Avengers Assemble! 💪 A great day planning CNF's strategy and execution plan for the coming year with our two very talented Board Advisors Richard Baldwin and Eleanor Akers. Really delighted to welcome Eleanor to the CNF Advisory Team - her expertise in power and grid are invaluable, plus Eleanor's business prowess through her MBA and founding Innovative Energy Consultants are second to none! Ric formally joined the Board as a NED several months ago and it's been a pleasure having his significant commercial expertise on the team, both through his extensive commercial director experience and also through his volunteering work with the King’s Trust. It felt like a real milestone today, using the hive mind to plan out CNF's future. Here's to the next quarter! 🎉🍾

It was an honour to introduce Carbon Neutral Fuels to the stage at the LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group). As lead mentor, it has been truly inspiring to work alongside co-founders Alasdair Lumsden 🍃 and Sophie Zienkiewicz over the last 6 months and see first-hand how determination and skills can progress the highest ambitions in the energy transition. CNF is helping making a reality transforming biogenic CO2 and water into drop in fuels, such as kerosene, to help decarbonise the aviation sector.
