Carey Olsen's corporate team in Guernsey has advised Achilles Investment Company Limited on its establishment and admission to trading on the Specialist Fund Segment of the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange. The Guernsey-registered fund raised £54 million at its IPO and has a placing programme in place for the issuance of up to a further 150 million shares. On Thursday 20 February 2025, following consultation, the Bermuda Monetary Authority published the "Digital Asset Business (Custody of Client Assets) Rules 2025" (Rules) which are in immediate effect. The Rules apply to Bermuda companies licensed under the Digital Asset Business Act 2018 who provide custodial wallet services, and set out the obligations on such companies in respect of holding, segregating and handling client assets.
