Last week the team was immersed in all things nuclear as Cavendish Nuclear attended ‘Nuclear Week in Parliament 25’, bringing Parliamentarians, the Government and industry together to discuss key nuclear topics such as new build, the fuel cycle, skills development, decommissioning, and the ongoing role of nuclear in the UK’s clean energy future. Various events, panels sessions and reception were attended by the team and the energy and enthusiasm was evident across all the sessions and networking events - there is a real belief that we as a country can drive our new nuclear programme forward to help our country achieve net zero. To do that, and one underlying theme that came through in all the sessions attended, was we need to move at pace and collaborate - and we at Cavendish Nuclear look forward to playing our part in pushing things forward. As the largest British owned nuclear company, Cavendish Nuclear, alongside industry and wider supply chain, is ready to deliver the UK's nuclear programmes and drive economic prosperity.
