The Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) is a partnership between University College London, the University of Nottingham, and SSPC - the Science Foundation Ireland Research Centre for Pharmaceuticals. The CDT provides world-class PhD training to early career researchers. Our graduates have the knowledge and skill to take active molecules from drug discovery and design, and transform them into medicines to treat patients. Funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Council in the UK, Science Foundation Ireland and a total of 19 industry partners, we provide world-leading training to prepare scientists for high achieving careers in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.

My first research paper, "Breaking the Access to Education Barrier: Enhancing HPLC Learning with Virtual Reality", has finally been published in the American Chemical Society Journal of Chemical Education! 🎉 It was a pleasure to work with my research group at Stephen Hilton's lab on this (Mae Taylor, Ayah A., Mireia Benito Montaner, Fatma Kareem, Zijing Cao and more), carrying out numerous HPLC practicals together in VR 🤖 more work to come on this soon! Very pleased to hear that the first research article of my PhD has been published in the Journal of Analysis and Testing. The article titled "Elucidating the Degradation Pathways of Human Insulin in the Solid State" aimed to update the methodologies currently used for investigating the physical and chemical stability of insulin and to highlight their utility for assessing solid state degradation pathways.
