  • Today, our team at Wolverhampton Wanderers FC have been taking part in Manual Handling Training, led by our Venue Presentation Manager, Donivaldo de Oliveira CMgr MCMI. Donivaldo has previously completed Train the Trainer certification, and now he's sharing his expertise to ensure our team is equipped with the right techniques to safely handle heavy items or move and utilise equipment effectively. We are committed to empowering our people with the skills and knowledge they need to stay safe, efficient and confident in their roles.   • During our annual conference, we celebrated the 2024 usage data for our fleet of i-mops with i-team Global and our managers in attendance, but the data shared was more than just numbers—it was a reflection of how small, everyday actions can lead to significant change. Through our partnership with the Made Blue Foundation, every drop of water saved translates into clean drinking water donated to communities that need it most. Seeing our teams take this to heart, embracing innovation and efficiency while making a real-world impact, is something we are incredibly proud of. Our Venue Presentation Managers shared their certificates on their return to the venues - so not only do we have cleaner floors, we also have some very happy clients!   • We are aware that nothing beats being on-site with our teams - regular site visits are crucial for conducting reviews, health & safety audits and delivering face-to-face training to keep everyone up to date with the latest legislative and procedural changes. Recently, Gillian Haley (Health & Safety Manager) and Corey Watts (Operations & Major Events Coordinator) have been busy visiting our teams at Aintree Racecourse, ACC Liverpool, Co-op Live, and Chester Racecourse to provide support and training. While in the area, they also popped into the Etihad Campus to say hello to our team at Manchester City Football Club! For Corey, these site visits are an integral part of his ongoing CPD, having stepped into his new role as Operations & Major Events Coordinator in January 2025. Gaining first hand experience across different venues and engaging with teams directly is helping him further develop his expertise in venue operations and major event logistics. These visits reinforce our commitment to continuous improvement, training and employee wellbeing. Being on-site means we can answer questions in real time, address concerns, and celebrate the hard work of our teams first hand.
