As part of my commitment to lifelong learning and professional excellence I am pleased to share that Chartered Association of Business Schools have featured me in their Certified Management & Business Educator (CMBE) community impact showcase. A community dedicated to highlight the wider impact their members have on Business Managment Education I conducted research on the competency development of scholar-practitioners, exploring the intricate balance between academic theory and professional practice. My study titled 'Navigating Liminal Spaces: Identity Development and Professional Competencies of Doctoral Scholar-Practitioners.' explores how the dual roles of scholar and practitioner shape professional identity and foster the development of advanced competencies. This experience has not only enriched my understanding of the interplay between academia and industry but also provided valuable insights into how we, as educators and practitioners, can bridge these worlds to drive innovation and impact in professional practice. I am excited to apply these insights in my PhD, teaching, mentoring, and professional engagements to better support the development of others navigating similar paths.
