Sales Director at Procter & Gamble • I help you master stress through modern science and ancient wisdom. Follow for daily tips

Master these 6 attitudes and you will master life: Life is simple once you know the rules of the game. (so you can play it well) ⎯ In the last 3 years, I’ve reviewed wisdom from 160+ books. Everything about personal growth and living a fulfilling life. From Buddha and Aristotle to Tony Robbins and Martin Seligman. Here is the juice: Everything is connected by 6 golden threads. Master them and you will master life. I call them the 6 C's: 1. Courage ↳ have a 'why' that burns like wildfire. 2. Confidence ↳ build trust in yourself and your abilities. 3. Curiosity ↳ ask: 'What's another way to do this?' 4. Commitment ↳ keep small habits you can compound daily. 5. Celebrating ↳ every night, note 3 things that worked that day. 6. Compassion ↳ use kindness as a lens for all your interactions. Find your unique way to practice them daily. Simplify your playing field. Build systems to practice and strengthen these attitudes. And watch your life (and those around you) transform. PS. What other combination of these is most powerful to you? Valuable? Building trust-centered leadership, teams & organizations where people can be & do their best. MCC, CEO of Six Seconds - the global emotional intelligence community

Companies that prioritize emotional intelligence are 22x as likely to be high performing. Read that again! 6 ways it adds 💰 & other value: 👯 Individual level: EQ predicts effectiveness, relationships, wellbeing & quality of life (shown on the graph). 📈 Corporate level: leadership, loyalty, teamwork, engagement and more (resource: Six Seconds’ Business Case for Emotional Intelligence) HOW?? 1️⃣ High EQ leaders are more insightful Emotional intelligence = accurately acquiring & effectively using emotional data to solve problems. Simple: Being smarter with feelings. When leaders grow these skills, they get the data. They hear it in people’s voices, they see it on faces. They feel it in themselves. ** That data is VALUABLE because high EQ leaders “get it.” 2️⃣ High EQ teams connect better Emotions are “social glue” that helps people tune in & understand 1 another. Emotions provide us signals (data) about what’s going on, needs, opportunities and threats to the tribe. ** w more EQ, members work with that insight to become a TEAM rooted in trust (which is an emotion!) 3️⃣ High EQ drives customer loyalty Just like with teams, customers FEEL the connection, or not. Companies can create all the scripts and protocols they want and ** a caring, connected, trustworthy person is going to be your BEST brand multiplier 4️⃣ More EQ = less waste on CYA Distrust costs companies billions of dollars. -> Constant re-checking, fake accountability, hiding resources, poor transparency, silos... people spending a lot of time doing CYA (cover your ...self so when things go wrong, other people get the blame) 5️⃣ High EQ increases productivity Most employees are disengaged. Most of that is down to bad management - due to low emotional intelligence (individually & culture). ** 76% of the variation in employee engagement is predicted by manager EQ. Guess what? More engaged employees are dramatically more productive (Gallup says 36% more profitable). 6️⃣ Great people stay working for high EQ leaders Top leadership talent attracts & retains top talent. Leadership is a “people business,” not (only) about tasks. Emotional intelligence is the missing link that makes great leaders great, & makes top people want to stay. Plus emotional intelligence improves safety, innovation, collaboration, influence, problem-solving, change, hiring, onboarding, talent management... basically EVERY function where people are key to results, EQ is the difference maker. Plus, in Six Seconds’ case study library, you’ll find a ton of evidence that emotional intelligence is LEARNABLE. So if you want to drive these outcomes individually and organizationally, grow these skills. ### I’m Joshua Freedman, ceo & cofounder of Six Seconds - The Emotional Intelligence Network. For 27 years, we’ve worked to grow everyone’s emotion skills. At work, that’s all about equipping people to create great culture. ASK ME HOW!

11 life hacks I know at 34 I wish I knew at 24: 1. Build a personal brand Your personal brand is your digital reputation. I leverage my personal brand to: • Open doors • Inspire entrepreneurs • 100x my surface area for luck • Build relationships with legends 2. Find Your Peak Energy State No entrepreneur's routine is perfect. But they all have one commonality: two-hour blocks of deep work. Find the blocks in your day where you feel the most: • Energetic  • At-ease  • Productive Protect them constantly. 3. Kill Retrospective Regret Past decisions are in the past. Stop letting them rule your mind and destroy your future. Build systems to make the best choices in the moment. "The best preparation for the future is to live as if there were none." - Einstein 4. It's The Hunt, Not The Kill Parkinson's Law: Work expands to fill empty time. If you work longer, you'll get less done. To fix this: Relax.  Sprint.  Rest.  Repeat. Working well is hunting like a lion not grazing like a cow. 5. Be Boring Maximize your sleep. Do the same workouts. Have a basic nutritious diet. Most people struggle as they overcomplicate it. Understand any real results are formed through consistency. So build the boring systems and habits that guarantee success. 6. Build Reminders for Personal Outreach Your relationships are 80% of your happiness. Build queues that prompt you to reach out: • Feeling thankful? Let them know  • Reminiscing on a memory? DM those involved Living happily ever after isn't a fairy tale. It's a choice. 7. Prioritize the Body: • Take an internal shower (Drink 3.7L daily)  • Invest in powerful sleep tech (Blackout curtains, weighted blankets)  • Follow Japan's 80% rule (Eat until you are 80% full) 8. Leverage Walks Walks aren't taking away time from your work. Think of them like Tesla Superchargers ready to get you back in gear. Nature, sunlight, and movement instantly improve your energy levels, metabolism, and mood. 9. Never Skip 2 Days With whatever habit you are forming, only skip a maximum of one day. This creates momentum. And ensures you keep compounding your progress and habits. Success is not magical or mysterious. It's the product of consistency. 10. Insecurities Run Deep It doesn't matter how "smart" you are. Doubting yourself is the only thing stopping you from making money. Dumb people make stupid money every day because they aren't insecure. Face your fears. 11. Find Organic Energy Sources Spend more time with: • Work  • People  • Hobbies  • Content ...that give you energy. Invert it and spend less time with anything that drains your energy. — Enjoy this? ♻️ Repost it to your network and follow Matt Gray for more. Want my systems for success? Mindset, EQ, & Leadership Expert | I help leaders go from overwhelmed 👉🏼 confident, balanced, & effective with tactical, proven strategies 🔥 On a mission to uplift leadership development the healthy way ✨

78% of leaders don't have high EQ; here's how we can change that: We want our EQ cake but we don’t want to buy the ingredients or make it. Real talk: EQ isn't a job you can outsource. 🥴 We have been taught by society, parents, school, peers, etc. that showing emotions is a weakness. ↳ And a distraction to executing. So we shy away from having the real, honest conversations about emotions at work. We rank developing skills like problem solving as more important than strengthening our EQ. The truth? You can’t have high EQ leaders & employees without talking about emotions at work. And you can’t have high EQ leaders & employees without providing resources & space to improve EQ. EQ is comprised of 4 major parts: 1️⃣ Self- awareness - Accurately recognizing & understanding your own emotions, thoughts, perceptions, strengths, limitations, & identity. 2️⃣ Self-management - Using your self-awareness to positively manage your actions and behaviors. 3️⃣ Social awareness - Accurately recognizing & understanding the emotions, thoughts, perceptions, strengths, limitations, & identities of others. 4️⃣ Relationship management - Using your self-awareness, self-management, & social awareness to build & maintain healthy connections. Use this cheat sheet to learn 16 tips to improve every part of your EQ today. Share with your team so they can do the same. I’ll leave you with this - “I’m not interested in preserving the status quo; I want to overthrow it.” 👊🏼 – Niccolo Machiavelli *Stat from Korn Ferry in survey of 155,000 leaders _____________ ♻️ Repost to educate your network. ➕ Follow me for more EQ-Driven leadership tips. 🎁 Get your FREE Infographic Collection here: https://lnkd.in/gn49Gq4B

I’ve interviewed more millionaires than I can count. I always ask them to share their lessons on creating a world-class company culture. Here's what they told me: 1. Your Values = Your Compass Your values are your organization's DNA. They guide decision-making, shape behavior, and create a shared sense of purpose. Communicate them clearly and consistently. Embrace your values. Eliminate decision fatigue. 2. Build Bulletproof Relationships • Encourage collaboration and teamwork • Foster a sense of community and belonging • Create opportunities for social connection and fun The strength of the team is each member. The strength of each member is the team. 3. Demonstrate. Don’t Dictate. As a founder or leader, your actions set the tone. • Embody integrity, empathy, and a strong work ethic • Model the behaviors and attitudes you want to see in your team As the leader goes, so goes the team. 4. Tap Into the Diverse Talents Within Your Team Build teams with a wide range of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. This drives out-of-the-box thinking. Create a culture where everyone feels they can contribute. The whole is greater than the sum of the parts. 5. Employee Wellbeing Matters Invest in: • A healthy workplace • Work-life balance • Mental health support When you take care of your people, they take care of your business. 6. Engage Your Team on A Deep Level • Listen actively • Foster open communication • Create space for honest feedback • Give them challenging, meaningful work  • Provide opportunities for growth and development Culture is what motivates and retains talented employees. 7. Rinse. Refine. Repeat Adapt your culture as your company grows and evolves. Stay agile and responsive to your team's needs. Regularly assess employee engagement and satisfaction. Seek feedback and ideas for improvement. What gets measured, gets done. 8. Invest In Your Culture. It Will Pay Dividends A strong, positive culture attracts top talent and boosts performance. It's your competitive advantage in a world where skilled workers have countless options. To win in the marketplace, you must first win in the workplace. Building a great culture isn't rocket science, but it does require intention. It takes time and effort, but it's worth it. Start by defining your values, focusing on engagement, and leading by example. Culture-building is an ongoing process, not a one-time initiative. — Enjoy this? ♻️ Repost it to your network and follow Matt Gray for more.
