My personal journey of taking part in the Mentoring Women in Business programme by the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women. This article highlights how the programme supports women entrepreneurs from low-and middle-income countries worldwide and also the mentors themselves. A new report from Global Entrepreneurship Monitor highlights entrepreneurs' uncertainty when it comes to the use of artificial intelligence for business. While many business owners see #AI as a useful tool for content generation, market research, and other key tasks, we cannot ignore the risks it presents for women. Experiences with online gender-based violence are increasingly common and AI has been weaponised to fuel this abuse. We must support entrepreneurs, especially women entrepreneurs, to understand AI and how to use it safely. The report calls for urgent action to: "Launch awareness campaigns and training programmes to educate entrepreneurs about the importance and potential of AI." Read it at the link below 👇
