Who you hang around with matters. We had the most fantastic opportunity to attend the Botterill and Bartlett event recently. VIP tickets no less! As always with an Entrepreneurs Circle event the programme went flawlessly. We had a workbook as well as front row seats. Before the event started, I looked through the workbook. There were 8 blank pages for when Steven Bartlett was on stage! 8 pages … what the hell am I going to do with 8 blank pages. I want to listen to the man not write a book! Safe to say I ran out of paper. Steven, I feel that we’re now on 1st name terms as he had his photo taken with me, was the most eloquent, knowledgeable and articulate person I have ever listened to. The inspirational “golden nuggets” he presented on stage will live with me for a very long time. And the man is only just in his 30s! The notes have been read numerous times and the video of the talk will never wear out! How you spend your time and most importantly who you spend your time with is life changing. It is said that you become the average of those who you spend the most time with. Take the time and have a look – guess the income of the people you hang around with…your income will be the average of those people. Want to change that – hang around with people that inspire you and it will rub off! I still can’t believe that Steven Bartlett thanked me for coming to his event!

Thrive25 – a big thank you. 🙏 Last Friday saw a select group of Kent Business Owners join us for the Thrive25 Business Growth event. While enjoying the coffee ☕ , muffins 🍰 , sausage & bacon rolls 🌭 as well as a cracking buffet lunch, they spent time learning about the key elements that will drive their business forward in 2025. Including some of the best uses of AI. The room was buzzing with chat and the opportunities for Networking with fellow business owners has led to some great collaborations.
