We're wrapping up January with milestone tenures! 🎉 Having worked across our Supply Chain in South Africa, England and Scotland, Chris Reddy has brought a wealth of experience to every team he’s been part of the last 10 years. Also celebrating a decade is Ian Geddes, a key member of our Operations team. When he’s not at work, you’ll find him on the golf course—where his impressive 0.7 handicap speaks for itself! ⛳ Reaching five years we have Russell, Sean and John. Russell Dent is a valued Supervisor at our Visitor Centre in Strathisla, known for his dedication and passion for the role. He carries on a proud legacy, following in the footsteps of his father, Kenny, who has spent nearly 30 years at The Glenlivet as a Distillery Operator. Over the last five years, Sean Beamish has travelled for work across Europe and China but still calls the Logistics team in London home. Last but not least is John Wilson who began his journey at The Glenlivet Distillery and is now another superhero Supervisor at Aberlour Distillery. 84% of Brits are concerned about the health of UK waterways, but understanding of the specific issues facing rivers and the associated solutions is... well, limited. That's why education is critical – it'll enable us to build stronger support to protect and enhance our rivers and waterways and to safeguard water itself, allowing us to give back more than we take.   Our environmental sustainability programme #TheRiverWithin is primarily about action so, in collaboration with our partners THE DEVERON, BOGIE AND ISLA RIVERS CHARITABLE TRUST, Findhorn, Nairn & Lossie Rivers Trust and Spey Catchment Initiative we can be a catalyst for positive action, particularly across Scotland's rivers and waterways. However, it's important that we continue to bolster education and public awareness about the issues facing rivers so we're all aware of what the issues are and how we can work together to fix them.    The findings from our survey show there's a lot of work to do and we're just getting started.
