Great branch event focusing on HR’s Role in Organisational Effectiveness - the second in our mini series. Really interesting discussions about how HR can add value to the Management of Change - be it building and testing the case for change, supporting the delivery of change and/or ensuring effective engagement and participation! T'was the day before Christmas, and out on the floor, Nobody was working, except for HR. As everyone gossiped and shared plans for their day The team were all busy sorting out the affray; Food poisoning caused by Jim’s home-made stollen, A secret santa gift that left Jennifer bawling, Some Baileys discovered in Clive’s coffee cup, A hungover intern who keeps throwing up. While the staff are all planning their days in pyjamas The HR on call phone is buzzing with dramas, While we might sigh every time that it rings We know that deep down we would not change a thing. The last one to leave, HR turns off the lights, Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night!

Clara in accounts has been learning ballet and insists on performing the "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies" every morning as a team-building exercise. While some employees enjoy the spectacle, others find it disruptive and strange.

Your new boss, Mr G. Rinch, demands you cancel the annual Whoville Inc Christmas party, citing budget cuts and security risks. The employees, who look forward to the party all year, are outraged.
