While the #EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) has been the hot topic in Scope 3 emissions, it’s actually the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) framework that most countries worldwide are adopting. 🌍 With mandatory Scope 3 legislation taking different forms across regions - each with unique scopes and timelines - standardised reporting is expected to provide financial services with clearer #ESG criteria and greater transparency. This will be crucial for economy-wide decarbonisation efforts. But here’s the challenge - measuring Scope 3 emissions is tough.
