🎆 Gen AI Masterclass test run one completed! 🎆 With my entrepreneurial & product management mind-hat on I have committed to doing two live practice runs through the Masterclass and workshops. As with any trial, my goals are many-fold, including, to take off rough edges, adjust content, discover what resonates (and what does not), improve my presentation and more… A few learnings: - There is a mismatch between perceptions about Gen AI and more traditional forms of AI (and tech in general), which I'm anticipating will trip up many organisations (more on this soon) 👀 - The field of Generative AI is moving so fast that the subject matter/exercises/demos need to be updated almost weekly - The expected impacts and potential disruption can be a little destabilising and concerning - so some expectation setting might be required A big 🙏 THANK YOU 🙏 to all involved particularly …. Ruth Long FCIPD & Dr Steve Long for the time and invaluable feedback. Role on the next guinea-pig cohort. If you are interested to get involved please reach out too. #GenerativeAI #learning

I'm happy to announce that this year I am running the “Generative AI for Business” masterclass. 🙂 Why? From conversations over the last year it seems that: 1. Business leaders are keenly aware that Gen AI is coming to their industries (or is already here), but many are feeling underprepared or unsure how to get started. 2. Most of the freely available information and resources are technical and tactical, i.e. not strategic enough to aid decision making at leadership and management levels. 3. Information published by the large consultancies is valuable, but generic and not close enough to any specific organisations situations to apply or act upon. 4. DIY and self starting is an option, but is slow, risky and inefficient, because everyone is starting from a low base, and the shear pace of change 5. People are really concerned about risks and missteps that could prove very damaging To address this gap, I collated the questions I have been asked by business leaders, along with topic areas that are important when adopting new emerging technologies, then spent several months researching, authoring and structuring a masterclass that covers all the bases. So, watch this space for useful highlights that address Gen AI from a more strategic perspective, and please comment or reach out to me with your AI questions or thoughts on valuable masterclass content. 2024 - the year of Generative AI in business?
