In 2019, research proved what we’ve always believed—Kompass saves time where it matters most. 💡In a six-month trial comparing Kompass (formerly Goal Manager) to paper-based methods, the results spoke for themselves: 1) Time spent setting and reviewing goals was slashed by nearly 50%! 2) Even as a sole user, clinicians saw drastic time savings—improving further when working as part of a Kompass team. This research laid the foundation for everything we’ve built since, showing the incredible potential of evidence-based digital tools to enhance efficiency and free up time for patient care. 🔎 Is Your Technology Fit for Purpose? In rehabilitation, technology should enhance—not hinder—clinical practice. Yet too often, systems aren’t built with clinicians and service users in mind, making them difficult to implement effectively. Technologies co-developed with healthcare professionals are far more likely to succeed. But without the right support, training, and leadership, even the best tools can fail to integrate into practice. That’s why Dr Penny Trayner, a clinical neuropsychologist, founded Kompass. After struggling with inefficient, disconnected systems in her own clinical work, she set out to create a platform designed by clinicians, for clinicians. Kompass was built to streamline goal-setting, progress tracking, and interdisciplinary collaboration, making best-practice rehabilitation easier to achieve. ✅ Clinically relevant – Created alongside healthcare professionals. ✅ Designed for real-world practice – Fits seamlessly into existing workflows. ✅ Backed by research – Rooted in evidence-based frameworks like GAS, ICF, and SMART. 🚀 Discover how Kompass is revolutionising rehab: kompass.health #innovation #rehabilitation #rehab #TechForGood #healthcaretechnology #healthcareprofessionals #healthcare #research #health #STEM #progressthroughtechnology #researchanddevelopment #researchers #CaseManager #therapy #therapist #occupationaltherapist #socialwork #socialworkers #physiotherapy #physiotherapist #physio #neurorehab #stroke #strokecase #NHS #neurorehabilitation #psychology #clinicalpsychologisy #neuropsychology #neuropsych #mentalhealth #diagnosis

Breaking down barriers to collaboration 🔎 What Makes Interdisciplinary Collaboration So Challenging? Collaborating across disciplines is vital in rehabilitation, but it often comes with hurdles: ➡️ No secure way to transfer information between teams. ➡️ Clinicians and services recording goals in different formats. ➡️Effectively integrating information is complex and time-consuming. ➡️ Goals that lack relevance or motivation for the client. ➡️ Lost goal data when clients transition between services. That’s where Kompass comes in. Our platform is designed to help interdisciplinary rehabilitation teams overcome these barriers, streamlining processes and improving outcomes. 🌐 Visit kompass.health to learn more about how Kompass can transform collaboration in care!
