Calling all commercial sponsors, contract research organisations, chief investigators (CIs), and the NHS / HSC organisations which employ CIs! This is your final opportunity to feedback on a new draft of a model Commercial Chief Investigator Agreement. It’s designed to be used when a commercial organisation is contracting with an NHS / HSC organisation to provide a Chief Investigator for a commercially-sponsored clinical trial of an investigational medicinal product (CTIMP). It’s been developed by Contracts Leads from England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland as a result of feedback from pharmaceutical companies, and aims to standardise contractual terms and the funding mode to help make it quicker and easier for commercial organisations to procure CI services from NHS / HSC organisations. Knowledge ↔️ Education is a power we all posses. The toolkit is designed to support researchers who are planning, setting up, and conducting research in more than one UK nation. It provides information on the main differences and similarities in research approval processes in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales.
