Our client Lavington School (nr Devizes) instructed us for the second time to supply and install outside covered dining space - the first time was back in 2013 when we provided a large Oxford lean to canopy for their new Food Pod. On this occasion we were tasked with transforming a raised social area into an enclosed dining room, this involved clearing the existing shrub borders ready for a tarmac top dressing and installing our Oxford XL Barrel Vault canopy at 10m wide x 15m long complete with toughened glass curtain wall infill. We also supplied and installed our 6m wide Kent umbrella canopy with polycarbonate glazed roof to provide an additional covered space for students.

Making waves in Norwich... Sapientia Education Trust, approached Clovis to design and install a canopy solution, to provide shelter from the sun and rain for the south facing classrooms. To minimise the number of columns and maximise the area for free flow and circulation in a busy area of the school, a cantilever design was proposed along with a wave profile roof to complement the modern building design. 3.5m wide x 46m long.

How strong are Canopies from Clovis....well over 3 Tons strong. Earlier this week a great tree fell without warning and thankfully out of school hours and came to rest on our installation from 2012 preventing the tree from striking the school building and all of those windows. A blue Valet Parking Damage Recognition Booth with side wall cladding successfully installed on the third floor of the Main Car Park Terminal 2, Dublin International Airport. For our client Sisk Lagan Joint Venture. Clovis has now installed canopies at Liverpool, Cardiff, Gatwick, Leeds Bradford, Glasgow and Doncaster Airports for valet parking operators.

Toynbee School approached Clovis back in 2020 to design and install a copy to provide shelter for pupils using their new Food Pod and we installed a 7m wide x 13.5m long Oxford barrel vault canopy. The school were pleased with the canopy and the service we provided and wanted to take their outside dining provision to the next level. Photos below show the planning for and construction of the framework for a new 15m wide x 25m long Oxford XL canopy. The progress shown so far has been achieved in only 1 week and we will return after surfacing has been completed to install curtain wall glazing and 4 nos. double door sets. Watch this space for photos of the completed project.
