We are incredibly proud to announce that we have won the award for 'Best Approach to Tenant Communications' at the Housing Digital Housing Innovation Awards 2025. The award recognised our commitment to resident safety, through our Compliance and Building Safety Month campaign, which we held in October 2024. Chris Roberts, our Head of Compliance and Building Safety said: "Keeping residents informed is at the heart of what we do, and this award reflects the dedication of our team, in finding new and engaging ways to communicate important safety messages." We'd like to thank everyone who supported and engaged with this very important campaign for helping to make it such a huge success! #housinginnovationawards #housingdigital #Clwydalyn #awards Image credit UKBE and Joe Gardner Photography

Charity champion Gladys Mobbs is on a knitting mission! We are incredibly proud of our resident Gladys, who spends countless hours each day knitting beautiful baby and toddler clothes, to raise money for local charities. Gladys was taught to knit by her mother in childhood and has a large collection of patterns. Her journey into charity knitting began after losing her husband Robert Edward Mobbs to Motor Neurone Disease. At this difficult time help was on hand from the North East Wales Branch of the MND Association. Support from this charity encouraged Gladys to pick up her knitting needles once more. Initially, her work was primarily donated to the MND Association. Subsequently she has gone on to knit items for other charities including SHARE in Mold and Nightingale House Hospice. Said Gladys: “It keeps me busy and knowing that my knitting is helping others gives me so much joy!” Kathy Davies, Manager at the independent living scheme where Gladys lives, said: “We are very proud of Gladys; her dedication doesn’t go unnoticed. Her contributions to these charities and to our community, make her an inspiration to everyone around her!” You can catch Gladys' story on tonight's ITV Wales News at 6pm 🥰 Read the article on our website: https://lnkd.in/euYz-Wga Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association Share Mold - ShareShop Nightingale House Hospice

We’re very happy to welcome the first residents, who have now moved into their new homes at our Northern Gateway development in Flintshire. All 100 homes at this development will feature air source heat pumps, solar electricity panels, and high levels of insulation, to ensure that fuel bills remain as low as possible. Krzysztof (pictured) said: “We’re so excited to be moving in here. Myself and my mum feel that it is life-changing and is definitely a new life for us both. “Our home is energy efficient, and this will help us so much.” Penelope Storr, our Head of Development and Growth said: “Seeing residents benefit from modern, sustainable homes is at the heart of what we do. These homes not only provide comfort and security but also help to reduce energy costs, making a real difference in day-to-day life. It’s wonderful to see the positive impact this has on our community.” Read more the story: https://lnkd.in/e8SKbQJE Learn more about affordable homes by visiting our website: https://lnkd.in/exhF48zW
