Our product of the week is... The PTPCZ Powertome! RMC Boeckeler’s PowerTome is a fully modular ultramicrotome. Known for its durability, the PowerTome‘s power-driven cutting arm sections through soft and extremely hard materials, making it the go-to system for labs in a wide range of industries ranging from life sciences to materials research. In addition, the PowerTome’s modular feature allows you to add on and remove modules easily, meaning you can use the same ultramicrotome for different purposes including both room temperature and cryosectioning, and serial sectioning for array tomography. The PTPCZ Powertome features a high-definition video package where the sectioning process is displayed in real-time.
