Amazing to have finally started delivering my "keys for change" course. Session one was about the ladder of change - this is a 12 step technique that empowers you to achieve your goals. Looking forward to session 2.

This morning's employer event at Coalville C.A.N was a huge success. Loughborough & SMB College organised the event to raise awareness about T-Levels, Apprenticeships, and Skills Bootcamps. It provided a valuable networking opportunity for all attendees. Thank you to Ria Foster, Lydia Brown, and Jessica Commons for their support during the event. Your contributions made a significant impact on its success. Loughborough College #Tlevels #apprenticeships
📣 Help Us Turn the Tide: Invest in Our Community Vision! To all our supporters and change-makers: Now is your moment to make a real difference! Our mission to purchase CAN HQ, the building opposite the iconic Clock Tower on Memorial Square, has faced an unexpected challenge. North West Leicestershire District Council recently withdrew their committed £80,000 funding contribution. But we’re not giving up. Instead, we’ve secured a loan to cover the shortfall — though it comes with an 8% interest rate, adding financial pressure to a project that’s all about community, not profit. 💡 Here’s where you come in: By investing in our Community Share Offer, you can help us reduce this financial burden and bring this community-driven vision to life. Together, we can ensure that CAN HQ becomes a thriving space for everyone in our area. Missed your chance to invest earlier? Now’s the time to step up and be part of something transformative! Let’s show what’s possible when a community comes together. 🌟 note.. all Investments over £1,000 earn 4% interest. Donations makes a difference too, especially with our charitable tax status. In the splendour of the Leicester Mercure The Grand Hotel, we’ve seen warm hearts, huge applause and even bigger smiles tonight at the #VALAwards2024. The Growth Accelerator for Social Entrepreneurs programme consortium, University of Leicester School of Business, Community Enterprise Engine and Co-operative and Social Enterprise Development Agency (CaSE) were proud to sponsor the category award for Social Enterprise of the Year. ULSB’s Professor Mohamed Shaban presented the award to well deserved winners Coalville C.A.N during the glittering ceremony. Congratulations to all nominees, finalists, winners and those who go above and beyond leading, working or volunteering at such a range of brilliant organisations with social purpose. An inspiring evening which was also greatly entertaining, with delicious food and many familiar faces to catch up with!
