⭐️ Collab Artist Highlight ⭐️ Introducing illustrator Gustavo Sanchez ✨ Gus Sanchez is a Mexican American freelance illustrator and visual development artist based in the San Francisco Bay Area, California. His love for art has stemmed from watching his father draw during his childhood. Since then, Gus has made it his lifelong mission to pursue art. His work reflects his love for bold shapes, colors, and whimsical storytelling. Gus graduated from San Jose State University with a BFA in Animation and Illustration. Since then, he has worked with several clients including Possibility Space, Creegs, Inc., and much more. He wears many hats by dabbling in character design, environment art, prop design, and book cover illustrations. He has participated in Lightbox Expo as art exhibitor and has been featured as a guest artist on Procreate's social media. When he is not drawing, Gus loves to cook, make music, and hike with friends. ⭐️ Collab Artist Highlight ⭐️ Introducing illustrator Ana Costa ✨ Ana is a Brazilian 3D artist and animator based in the UK. She is passionate about creating colorful and cheerful worlds in her work. Ana graduated with a degree in Geological Sciences and worked as a designer on engineering projects for a while, but her creative drive always spoke louder. She decided to pursue her passion and specialize in illustration for children’s books! Ana is constantly travelling in search of cultural exchanges and inspiration. She loves to play with 2D and 3D elements, adding a touch of cuteness and joy to each project. Her favourite tools are After Effects, Photoshop, and Blender, which she uses to bring her ideas to life from 2D concepts to the final 3D result. ⭐️ Collab Artist Highlight ⭐️ Introducing illustrator Laura Díez ✨ Laura is an illustrator based in Alicante, Spain. She has been drawing for as long as she can remember. As a child, she loved Disney movies and children’s storybooks. Laura went on to study at the University of Valencia and started her illustration career in advertising. She is passionate about art, design, and all things children’s illustration. For the past few years, she has focused her career on illustrating children’s books. Her work is influenced by animated films, comics, and children’s books from around the world. Laura mainly works digitally, using a Wacom Cintiq and an iPad, but she also loves traditional sketchbooks. ⭐️ Collab Artist Highlight ⭐️ Introducing illustrator Pupé ✨ Pupé is a freelance illustrator from Argentina. She is a graphic designer who graduated from the University of Buenos Aires in 2005. She has worked as an illustrator since 2006, and specialized in illustrating children's books in 2019. Her books have been published in both Argentina and Puerto Rico, Spain, Korea, among other countries. In 2022 she won first prize in the competition at the International Illustration Meeting of Sao Joao da Madeira, in Portugal. Her first comprehensive book will come to light, published by Editorial Destellos de Puerto Rico, later this year. Currently she works mainly in digital media, but always maintains the gestural imprint, expressiveness, and freshness of children's drawings. In her work color always takes the center stage, achieved through the superimposition of layers and textures. ⭐️ Collab Artist Highlight ⭐️ Introducing illustrator Flavio Remontti ✨ Flavio Remontti is an illustrator from São Paulo, Brazil. He studied Industrial Design at Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie and completed additional Entertainment Design courses at Concept Design Academy in Los Angeles. After graduating, he worked for several years as an artist in video games and animation. He currently works as a freelance illustrator for children's books, children's TV series, and educational content for children's audiences in several countries such as: Brazil, Canada, UK, USA. Flavio's style is mainly influenced by children's book illustrators from the early 1900s and contemporary design. With a background in industrial design, he also has the scope to work on projects with more realistic styles and techniques. Flavio is passionate about projects where he can illustrate a great diversity of cultures, clothes, people, and places.
