About us
Follow us for creative inspiration, comms jobs, courses, and some fun stuff. Who are we? Comms Creatives is here to help corporate communications professionals to unboring your comms. With our courses and membership, we've helped brands like Manchester Council, BBC Studios, Macmillan Cancer Support, Scottish Power and Barclays to bring their content to life, and get zillions more social media likes, comments and shares. And we’ve worked closely with loads of organisations like NUS, Welsh Government, Manchester City Council and the NHS, to create unique, pioneering communications, social media strategies and internal comms plans. There's Hel Reynolds, the Social Media Marketing Awards-winning, creative trainer who designs unique training and coaching programmes. You may know her from her cartoons, or maybe you’ve seen her banging on about creative communications on social media. And there's Lesley Reynolds, the planning queen. Dealing with the business side of things, and also brings the learning expertise she picked up in her career teaching kids. She’s the community manager for Comms Creative online courses, and she is the one in the family that got the organised genes. There's our comms team Zander Mills and Caroline Buist who bring our comms community together online for chats, insights, laughs and support. We also have a wonderful group of comms experts who deliver training, and guide us to help our clients and friends to LOVE their work, have OODLES of creativity, and become more confident, skilled, happy comms pros.

Our predictions for #comms professionals in 2025, based on expert insight, data and years of experience. You'll still be waiting for final approval on that doc you sent last week. Your colleagues will want you to be delighted to announce every little thing that happens. Your family will still not know what you actually do for a living. Someone’s going to ask for their own logo. You will be asked to arrange catering for someone’s meeting. Your advice will be ignored and you’ll be proved to have been right all along. Meetings that could have been emails. Painfully long email chains that could have been 10-minute meetings. You will seriously consider getting a ‘your audience isn’t everyone’ tattoo on your forehead. "Can you pretty this up?" You’ll get a negative media enquiry just as you’re about to log off. ICT will do your head in. You’ll mop up a crisis that could have been avoided if you’d been involved from the start . The comms war on clip art and comic sans will wage on. Congratulations to all our recent graduates! 🎓
I'm so pleased to have graduated as a Comms Creatives Social Media Expert. The course has been nine lessons of strategy, creative content ideas and planning, copywriting and visuals workshops, audience and channel analysis, and evaluation and reporting insight. And each excellent session has featured the unique warmth, fun, and compassion of the brilliant Helen Reynolds It's left me brimming with ideas that I can't wait to try out.
