As Movember draws to a close, we celebrate not only the conversations sparked about men’s health but also the significant milestone of the first-ever men’s health strategy. The Rt. Hon. Wes Streeting MP’s commitment marks a crucial step in acknowledging the challenges men face, from mental health to physical well-being. This strategy is a testament to how far we’ve come, and it is a call to action for continued support, advocacy, and awareness. Let’s use this moment to keep the dialogue going, support one another, and remember that good health is a journey, not a destination. Together, we can ensure that men’s health remains a priority, and with these new strategies, we will continue to break down barriers and create healthier, stronger communities. The journey is just beginning :- https://lnkd.in/eCkv7miF.

#NoExcuse for Violence Against Women Nearly one in three women experience violence in their lifetime, with girls particularly vulnerable—1 in 4 adolescent girls is abused by their partners. For countless women, this cycle of violence has ended in the most brutal act: their murder at the hands of partners or family members. Femicide, the intentional killing of women and girls because of their gender, is a global crisis. It represents the most extreme, visible, and devastating form of gender-based violence that women and girls face every day. We MUST stand united in saying: This cannot continue. Violence against women and girls is not inevitable. It can—and must—be prevented. To all survivors and those who live in fear: You are not alone. We see you, we hear you, and we fight alongside you. Together, we can break this cycle and create a world where every woman and girl lives free from violence. Let’s act now. Let’s act together. From November 25 (the international day for the elimination of violence against women) to December 10 (international human rights day). #Violence #Women #HumanRights

Every life matters, and breaking the silence around mental health is crucial. To all men struggling in silence: your feelings are valid, and your pain does not define your worth. Seeking support is a sign of strength, not weakness. Let’s continue building spaces where no one feels alone, where open conversations are normal, and where we stand together against stigma. Every day should indeed celebrate men and the importance of their mental health. Such conversation should not be for one day but an everyday occurrence as life is too precious. Together, we can save lives. Keep going—you matter.

Youth play a powerful role in showing what #belonging truly means through culture. When young people share their heritage—whether through traditional dance, music, art, or storytelling—they create a bridge between generations, preserving and renewing cultural identity. Their performances during celebrations like this Diwali are more than just expressions of talent; they’re acts of pride and connection that deepen a community’s sense of belonging. By bringing cultural traditions to life in fresh and engaging ways, youth not only honour their roots but also invite others to understand and appreciate them. In doing so, they build a community where everyone feels seen, valued, and welcomed. #CulturallyBetterTogether #Culture #Heritage #Community Corn Exchange Newbury & 101 Outdoor Arts West Berkshire Council Reading Borough Council Wokingham Borough Council South Asian Heritage Month Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust Berkshire West Primary Care Alliance Berkshire Youth

Each action, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to a more inclusive society where everyone can feel safe and welcome. Let’s commit to building a world where empathy, kindness, and understanding replace fear and discrimination. Together, we can make a difference.
