What's better than net-walking?? 🐕 Net-DOG-walking, of course! Just been out for more than 2.5 hours with Caroline Halsall this afternoon down at Yellowcraig beach, and ... I wish we'd done this ages ago! We could have blethered for another 2.5 hours no problem, putting the world to rights and talking about marvellous plans for business - plus a million other non-businessy things. 🐕 My dog Roddy found a kindred spirit in Caroline's dog Hector, and oh happy days, there were no dead birds or seal carcasses for them to roll in (my current measure of success for dog walks on a beach - Roddy's a manky git). 🐕 Anyone else up for a bit of net-dog-walking? Thank you to Caroline Wylie, Michelle Brown and Business Gateway East Lothian for putting on a great session for the Women in Business Series. The key takeaway was to stop playing small, this is something I do hear a lot when it comes to women in business, however, it was encouraging to see so many ambitious women running great businesses. Some self-reflection on why I felt so uncomfortable when we talked about money, and it's given me the boost to sort out my elevator pitch. There seems to be some good energy around events just now especially highlighting women in business.
