The Concrete Centre provides specifiers with the best practice guidance, events and online resources to enable them to realise the potential of concrete. Inspiration: Providing inspiration on how to use concrete in new and different ways including highlighting exemplars of concrete design and use. Information: Generating awareness and providing information on the design, use and performance of concrete that is relevant, credible and motivating. Education: Delivering learning experiences such as technical guidance and training to enable specifiers to become knowledgeable about the applications and design options available. Expertise: Through the provision of a range of services available online, as published guidance or project-specific, our staff of professionals is the source of the latest expertise and advice. Research: Working with academics, industry experts, researchers and practitioners to provide market focused research to specifiers to assist them in the selection of the optimal concrete solution. Innovative Solutions: Working with industry and specifiers to develop what concrete can do, supporting innovation and celebrating experimentation. The Concrete Centre is part of the Mineral Products Association, the trade association for the aggregates, asphalt, cement, concrete, dimension stone, lime, mortar and silica sand industries.
