🎉𝗕𝗶𝗴 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘁 𝗕𝗶𝗼! 🎉 Yesterday, we were thrilled to make our first customer delivery of Overture™, our beneficial microbe product, to Jonathan Dove at JEPCO. At the forefront of UK hydroponic lettuce production, Jonathan and Richard Pett at Jepco were the first to support our work, generously sharing their invaluable expertise to help develop, shape and test our solutions. So we are absolutely delighted that they are the very first people to receive their Overture™ delivery! This milestone is more than just a sale—it’s a step forward in transforming microbiome management for greenhouse growers around the world. Recently, Jonathan shared some great insights with our CEO Paul Rutten, talking about the future of microbiome management and what a great microbiome product looks like for him. Asked what his experience with our product has been, Jonathan said: “𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘭 𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘯 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘪𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘲𝘶𝘪𝘵𝘦 𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘺…𝘪𝘵 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘴 𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘸𝘦𝘭𝘭”. We’re so very proud to collaborate with forward-thinking partners like Jepco, who share our vision of sustainable, efficient, and resilient food production. A huge thank you to our incredible team and supporters—this is just the beginning! 🌱 We couldn’t describe the future any better than Jonathan himself: "[𝘛𝘰] 𝘣𝘦 𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘢𝘺 “[𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘳𝘵 𝘉𝘪𝘰 𝘤𝘢𝘯] 𝘎𝘰 𝘵𝘰 𝘢𝘯𝘺 𝘴𝘺𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘮, 𝘢𝘯𝘺 𝘸𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘴𝘺𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘮, 𝘸𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘢 𝘴𝘢𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘦, 𝘸𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘱𝘭𝘶𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘯, 𝘸𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘴𝘢𝘺 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵, 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦’𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘪𝘯 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘺𝘦𝘳𝘴, 𝘸𝘦 𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘴𝘦 𝘣𝘪𝘵𝘴, 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴, 𝘴𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 [𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘵]" Hear more of Jonathan’s insights here: https://lnkd.in/ep2JBDaS #Milestone #ConcertBio #Sustainability #Innovation #GreenhouseGrowing #Hydroponics #indoorag #cea

🌱 Concert Bio publishes 2024 commercial trial results 🌱 We’re thrilled to share the early results of commercial trials for our first product, Overture™. This product was developed thanks to years of collaboration with over 30 growers in the UK and internationally to identify beneficial microbes specifically for hydroponic and other soilless systems. The growers helping us trial this product have reported remarkable outcomes in lettuce crop performance. 📈 Key Results: 🔹 9.9% average increase in lettuce fresh head weight compared to untreated controls. 🔹 20.9% highest yield increase reported – a true testament to the power of beneficial microbes in controlled environments. 🔹 82% success rate - our microbes increased yield in NFT, DWC and Ebb & flow systems, across a wide range of organic and inorganic substrates. These trial results were made possible by growers all over the world helping us collect our data and test our products. We are hugely grateful to all of you, and so excited to make this product a reality for you. A special thank you to Lucy Rushton and the team at the UK Agri-Tech Centre who have also helped us trial our products. For a deeper dive into our trials and results, check out the report below. CEO & Founder of ReBorn: Turning Waste into Useful & Stylish Products | A Business for People, Planet & Profit

EMBARRASSING POST ALERT!! 🫣 Inspired by the brilliant story-telling by the awesome Anna-Sophie Deetjen and Paul Marchant, I've done my first ever video diary. But my children, in their usual subtle way, tell me that it's TERRIBLE!! 😆 What can I do better next time? Any advice welcome to help save me (and my boys) further embarrassment. 🙏 In the meantime, hopefully it still conveys the amazing story of ReBorn Homewares and the latest outstanding in-store display at John Lewis & Partners, featuring the new Bathroom range! 🥳 Thanks to your support, ReBorn is growing rapidly - helping to build a more circular and lower carbon economy. And I'm delighted to share that the ReBorn Crowdcube campaign has had 99 new investors is already 96% funded, with just a few final days to go! 💚 Would you like to be our 100th investor and join our mission to replace all plastic products at home, with one that’s ReBorn? If so, there are only 4% shares remaining so please invest now to avoid missing out. Link in comments below. 👇 Don’t invest unless you’re prepared to lose all the money you invest. This is a high-risk investment and you are unlikely to be protected if something goes wrong. Yesterday, our Managing Partner, Eva-Maria Dimitriadis represented the Conduit EIS Impact Fund at The Green Economy Forum: Financing the Green Transition at The Conduit. On a panel moderated by our very own Venture Partner Guy Ranawake, Eva was joined by Shevaun Haviland, Ajaita S. and Hannah Cool to discuss and debate the barriers that make it difficult for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to embrace sustainability. SMEs account for 90% of global businesses and 40% of business-sector emissions, but lag in the net-zero transition. Rising costs, complicated reporting requirements, and transparency issues all work together to hinder their sustainability efforts, and both green financing and actionable support remain underdeveloped.   Whilst at Conduit Connect we recognise the challenges faced by SMEs in measuring and improving their carbon footprint, there is great optimising in the fact that many of the technologies and innovations disrupting this space (i.e. making it easier to measure or improving the carbon footprint of hard to abate industries) are SMEs themselves! And these are the lifeblood of the Conduit EIS Impact Fund. We invest in those businesses that accelerate the transition to net zero and very intentionally measure and monitor the positive impact that they have on people and planet. Eva pointed out ‘You can’t manage what you don’t measure…perfect is the enemy of good’. Paul van Zyl, Founder of The Conduit, summarised in his closing remarks: ‘There are burdens placed on SMEs such as the reporting and compliance work they have to do, versus what we can do for them to both incentivise and reward the net zero behaviour’ If you missed out on the action, see the full livestream here: https://lnkd.in/ews5dFun Gabrielle Morgan Alexander Shapiro Natalie Otwoma
