Future-proofing EV charging at scale just got real. Partnering with Solidstudio - eMobility Software, we’ve successfully migrated 9,000 charge points to our new and most advanced Charge Point Management System (CPMS)— with zero downtime for EV drivers. This project was all about minimising risk, maximising efficiency, and ensuring a smooth transition for our network. By migrating in carefully planned phases and continuously optimising performance, we’ve gained greater control, faster feature deployment, and a future-proofed system that keeps our users moving. 📢 Want to learn more? 🌿 A Day of Teamwork and Conservation in Surrey! 🌿 We had an amazing time volunteering with the Surrey Countryside Partnerships (SCP) team at Park Ham in Chaldon, Surrey on January 31st! Despite the rain, our team of twelve powered through scrub clearing to help protect rare chalk grassland species. 🦋🌱 From navigating muddy quagmires to working alongside some very inquisitive goats, it was a day full of teamwork, laughter, and a crackling bonfire to keep us warm. 🐐 A huge shout-out to Helen Saunders for coordinating this incredible day of conservation and to everyone who volunteered their time and energy. 🙌 Find out more about the day and see the team hard at work on our blog post - https://hubs.li/Q035b39l0 #Volunteering #ConnectedforGood #SurreyCountrysidePartnerships Surrey County Council

🚨 Breaking News! 🚨 Connected Kerb has just been acknowledged by Chancellor of the Exchequer, Rachel Reeves in her recent speech, announcing Connected Kerb's whopping £65m investment from National Wealth Fund and Aviva Investors to supercharge the UK’s public EV charging network! This game-changing investment will help us in our goal to expand our charging network to 40,000 sockets, a significant boost from the 9,000 currently in place. With over 30% of new vehicles sold last December being pure battery EV's, the demand for accessible, reliable public charging infrastructure is skyrocketing. 📈 This investment will make EV ownership in the UK more practical and attractive, encouraging more people to switch to electric vehicles. It will boost the UK’s leadership in the transition to green energy and drive green job creation. 🌱 Our mission? To make charging simple and accessible for every EV owner, irrespective of their home charging situation. This investment is a giant step towards making that a reality. 🌍💚 Read more here - https://hubs.li/Q034sPB50 #ConnectedforGood #ConnectedKerb #EVCharging #Sustainability #Investment #NetZero Cameron Barney Herbst Hilgenfeldt (CBHH) Department for Transport (DfT), United Kingdom
