This week, Ralph Varcoe, Chief Growth Officer at Connexin, had the privilege of participating in The Smart Deal powered by Kurrant at the Smart City Expo World Congress. Six exceptional startups took to the stage to pitch their Series A investment raises, competing for a €50k grant and the opportunity to secure investment from the VCs on the panel. After a tough vetting process (40 startups applied!), each finalist delivered an outstanding pitch. Following careful deliberation, the judges decided to split the €50k grant between MEERSENS and Vizzia 🎉 Connexin is proud to support initiatives like The Smart Deal. As a former startup, we know firsthand how vital the support of friends, family, investors, and business partners is to growth. The journey towards smart solutions thrives on collaboration - together, we can go faster and further. That’s why we’re committed to giving back and helping the next generation of startups flourish.
