We Act because We are the World.

About us

Conscious Enterprises Network leads the movement of inner transformation and conscious leadership globally. We encourage each of us to claim back our authority and stop living second lives. By not being followers of any doctrines that diminish our right to be human beings, by being open to the understanding of what we are, how we function and how other people and organisations manipulate us, we can free ourselves from the illusions that have been created for us and that we are supporting. Never before in the history of humankind have we globally faced a civilisation-killer situation. Our flawed psychopathic and narcissistic societies, which are our expressions, must be transformed from a suffering world into a world of care and awareness. People who claim back their lives are the conscious leaders the world demands. The failures of politicians and major corporations, not addressing human suffering but increasing it, cannot be sustained any longer. A new force has to rise to transform this world. The Conscious Enterprises Network platform connects conscious leaders and anybody aspiring to become one in one community. We also open our arms to other similar organisations for us to join forces. We give our members a voice so they can share their thoughts, feelings, aspirations and visions of transformation. Our platform allows members to become aware of others’ presence and interact personally in humanitarian projects or conscious business. Every month, we conduct a Journey to Conscious Leadership webinar where speakers address various topics that matter to our lives, nature, and the world. We provide conscious leadership educational programs, a certification program and conscious business transformation services. • The Rise of Neoliberalism in Europe in the First Part of the 21st Century Europe has witnessed a significant transformation in its political and economic landscape in recent decades. The ascendance of neoliberalism, characterised by deregulation, privatisation, and market-driven policies, has dismantled the traditional capitalist framework. This shift has disrupted economic paradigms and dealt a deadly blow to main political parties, resulting in an erosion of trust and a surge in support for extreme right-wing movements. Neoliberalism's Impact on Political Parties Neoliberalism promotes free markets as the most efficient way to distribute resources and generate growth. However, this has often led to increased inequality, social dislocation, and disenfranchisement. Traditional political parties, relying on broad support from various socio-economic groups, have suffered as a result. In the UK, Labour and the Conservatives have struggled to maintain their voter bases. Neoliberal policies like austerity measures and privatisation have alienated many working-class voters, leading to the rise of parties like the Brexit Party and support for extreme right-wing ideologies. In France, the Socialist Party and the Republicans have lost ground due to neoliberal reforms, leading to protests like the "Yellow Vest" movement. This discontent has been fertile ground for Marine Le Pen's National Rally, which blends economic nationalism with anti-immigrant sentiment. Italy presents another vivid example. Neoliberalism, chronic economic stagnation, and high unemployment have undermined confidence in traditional parties like the Democratic Party and Forza Italia. This vacuum has been filled by right-wing populist parties like Matteo Salvini's League and the Brothers of Italy. The Consequences of Eroded Trust The erosion of trust in traditional parties is not just a European phenomenon but a global trend. In Europe, the rise of neoliberalism has created a socio-political environment where traditional parties are viewed as out of touch, facilitating the rise of extreme right-wing movements that exploit fear and frustration. The increasing polarisation of European politics threatens democratic governance. Extreme right-wing parties, with their exclusionary and nationalistic policies, challenge the principles of inclusivity and cooperation that underpin the EU, posing risks to social cohesion and stability. Moving Forward To address this crisis, policymakers need to create inclusive economic policies that address inequality and social dislocation. It is imperative to foster a political culture that values diversity, inclusivity, and cooperation, combating extreme right-wing ideologies and promoting a just society for all. Only through collective action and a commitment to shared values can we counter the divisive effects of neoliberalism and build a more just and inclusive Europe.

The world situation in June 2024 is rather bleak as we have two primary races, climate change and nuclear war, that could lead to humankind's extinction. The Doomsday Clock is now 90 seconds to midnight before a human-made global catastrophe, in the opinion of the members of the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists. In 2012, we were at 5 minutes to midnight; in 2015, we were 3 minutes to midnight; in 2017, we were 2.5 minutes to midnight; in 2018, we were 2 minutes to midnight; and in 2020, we were 100 seconds to midnight... We are running out of time, are we not? This led me to wonder how Artificial Intelligence estimates humankind's survival and what it suggests to better our odds. The following article provides an interesting analysis that shows that our odds stand at a 57.5% survival rate. Who likes playing the colours at casinos' roulette tables? One thing is sure, to better the odds and therefore turn back the Doomsday Clock, we must embrace our lives with more wisdom and reclaim our authority over our existence that many of us have too quickly given up to business, political and religious organisations that ultimately work against us. As the political season heats up in the United Kingdom and voting day approaches, it is crucial to address the immigration misinformation and disinformation. 1. Resources and Allocation: In the recent financial year, the British government's public spending budget was £1.189 billion. This figure alone debunks the myth that there are insufficient resources https://lnkd.in/eNn5knvq. 2. Demographics and Identity: The UK's population is 74.4% white Anglo-Saxon. This does not support the narrative of a disappearing English identity Population https://lnkd.in/eP_K9k4K. 3. Legality and Mobility: Immigration itself is not illegal. The term "illegal immigrants" is often a misnomer used to stoke fear. 4. Job Market Needs: The UK faces a significant talent shortage. We are, in fact, actively seeking foreign expertise https://lnkd.in/eQjDHyBr. 5. Economic Contributions of Foreign Students: Foreign students contributed £41.9 billion to the economy last year. Students are an economic asset, bringing substantial financial contributions https://lnkd.in/eGJGiK27. 6. Historical and Contemporary Realities: British foreign policies and economic ties are deeply entwined with global dynamics. The notion of a one-way benefit is inaccurate https://lnkd.in/eydQtjpA. 7. Government Spending Priorities: Consider, for example, the 2.3 billion handouts to Ukraine. This highlights that the focus is often on foreign affairs rather than domestic priorities https://lnkd.in/eDbEucmA. 8. Integration and Cultural Adaptation: It is hypocritical to expect immigrants to fully integrate immediately. Moving to a new country is challenging, and seeking comfort among familiar faces and cultures is natural. As we approach this voting season, we must think critically and assess whether our views are shaped by facts or manipulated by fear-mongering propaganda. Critical actions we ought to take: Addressing Misinformation and Disinformation: Establish independent fact-checking bodies. Launch public awareness campaigns. Integrate media literacy programs. Encourage positive media stories about immigrants. Public Engagement for Inclusivity and Rational Discourse: Participate in community and online discussions. Educate oneself and others with reliable information. Support inclusive policies and advocate for them. Use social media responsibly to share accurate information. Challenge fear-mongering and divisive rhetoric. Together, we can create a more informed and compassionate society.

  • Reflecting on Recent Legal Developments in Vaccine Transparency and Future Pandemic Preparedness The state of Kansas has recently taken a bold step by filing a lawsuit against Pfizer, stating that the pharmaceutical giant misled the public regarding the safety and efficacy of its COVID-19 vaccine. This development resonates with many who have long voiced concerns over transparency and corporate accountability in the healthcare sector. The Kansas Lawsuit Against Pfizer: Unveiling the Truth Kansas claims that Pfizer concealed vital information about potential risks, including pregnancy complications and heart inflammation (myocarditis and pericarditis). Additionally, it is alleged that Pfizer overstated the vaccine's effectiveness against new virus variants and its ability to prevent transmission. This lawsuit signals a growing demand for corporate transparency and ethical responsibility in public health. Conspiracy Theories and Emerging Realities This lawsuit lends some credence to the voices previously dismissed as conspiracy theorists. Many raised early warnings about vaccine side effects and questioned the narratives promoted by pharmaceutical companies. The unfolding legal proceedings could validate these concerns, emphasising the need for a more inclusive dialogue around public health interventions. Lessons for Future Pandemics: WHO's Role and Preparedness As we look ahead to potential future pandemics, such as the threat of a bird flu outbreak, it is crucial that we learn from past experiences. The World Health Organization (WHO) must prioritise transparency and none financially profiting, either personal or organisational,  evidence-based approaches in its recommendations and preparedness plans. The mishandling or perceived miscommunication during the COVID-19 pandemic has eroded public trust, and restoring this trust is paramount for effective global health governance. A Call for Conscious Leadership in Public Health In light of these developments, it is imperative for leaders across sectors to champion transparency, accountability, and ethical practices. Public health decisions must be rooted in comprehensive and honest communication with the public, ensuring that individuals are empowered with accurate information to make informed decisions. Join the Conversation Let us engage in a meaningful dialogue about the lessons learned from the COVID-19 pandemic and how we can apply these insights to enhance our preparedness for future health crises. Your thoughts and experiences are valuable in shaping a more resilient and transparent public health landscape. #PublicHealth #Transparency #CorporateAccountability #COVID19 #Vaccines #WHO #PandemicPreparedness #Leadership #ConsciousLeadership

  • The Impact of Global Geopolitics on Conscious Enterprises In our interconnected world, the ripples of geopolitical events are felt across every sector. As global tensions rise, conscious enterprises face an increasingly complex landscape. Recent events, such as worldwide trade wars, political unrest, Human Rights challenges, wars and regulatory changes, have underscored the need for businesses to stay vigilant and adaptable. The trade disputes between significant economies have disrupted supply chains and created economic uncertainty. Conscious enterprises, which often prioritise fair trade and sustainable sourcing, face the challenge of maintaining their principles in the face of rising costs and shifting trade barriers. Political instability in various regions raises significant ethical concerns, especially for international businesses. Conscious enterprises must ensure that their operations do not contribute to or exacerbate local and global conflicts. These businesses can support Human Rights and promote peace by conducting thorough due diligence and engaging with local communities. For conscious enterprises, compliance is not just a legal obligation but a reflection of their core values. Artificial Intelligence is profoundly reshaping geopolitics by enhancing nations' strategic capabilities. AI is pivotal in cybersecurity, intelligence gathering, and the automation of defence systems, leading to a more sophisticated and rapid response to global threats. However, the darker side of AI's impact on geopolitics is equally significant. The proliferation of AI technologies has escalated cyber warfare, with nations engaging in sophisticated attacks on critical infrastructure and electoral processes. AI can also exacerbate global inequalities, as countries with advanced AI capabilities widen the technological gap, potentially destabilising international relations. In these turbulent times, the importance of ethical decision-making is magnified. Leaders of conscious enterprises must embody the values of empathy, transparency, and accountability. They must be prepared to make difficult decisions that balance profitability with the greater good. This includes advocating for policies that support sustainable, peace-supporting and ethical business practices globally, underscoring the urgency and significance of their role in shaping a better future. Collaboration is not just a strategy but a pathway to resilience against geopolitical risks. Conscious enterprises should seek partnerships with like-minded organisations, NGOs, and international bodies. A Call to Action As we navigate these challenging times, conscious enterprises have a unique role in shaping a better future. Let us seize this moment to lead with integrity, advocate for positive change, and inspire others to join us in this vital mission. #Geopolitics #ConsciousBusiness #EthicalLeadership #GlobalCollaboration #Sustainability #HumanRights #CorporateResponsibility

Addressing the Decline of Global Human Rights: The USA's Penalisation of ICC Lawyers In recent developments, the United States has implemented severe measures against lawyers from the International Criminal Court (ICC), including penalising them and their families with sanctions and travel restrictions. This action is part of a broader, disturbing trend seen in the USA and parts of Europe and other regions, signalling a global decline in Human Rights standards. The USA's decision to target ICC officials directly undermines the principles of justice and accountability that are crucial to upholding Human Rights worldwide. These measures are ostensibly aimed at protecting national sovereignty and preventing external judicial overreach. However, they also pose a grave threat to judicial independence, effectively stifling efforts to investigate and prosecute alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity. This approach reflects a broader pattern of eroding human rights, where powers seek to shield themselves from accountability under international law. We observe similar trends in various countries, where governments suppress dissent, erode freedoms, and curtail the activities of those fighting for Human Rights. This decline is a global crisis that demands a unified response from all stakeholders committed to justice and equity. One significant oversight in our global governance structures is the need for a dedicated Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) for Human Rights within the United Nations framework. While the SDGs address various aspects of human well-being and environmental sustainability, the explicit exclusion of a standalone goal for Human Rights was a missed opportunity. Such a goal could serve as a cornerstone for global efforts, offering clear benchmarks and accountability mechanisms to prioritise human rights. The need for this was clear, and its absence is felt as we witness the decline in global Human Rights conditions. This situation calls for a renewed commitment to Human Rights at all levels of governance. As members of the global community, it is imperative to advocate for robust mechanisms that protect human rights defenders and hold violators accountable. We must also push for comprehensive reforms within international bodies to ensure they can effectively address these challenges without succumbing to political pressures. In conclusion, the USA's penalisation of ICC lawyers is not just an isolated issue but a symptom of a much larger problem. It underscores the urgent need for global cooperation and reform in our approach to Human Rights. Through collective action and strengthened international norms, we hope to reverse the tide of Human Rights erosion and move towards a more just and equitable world. #HumanRights #Justice #ICC #UN #SDGs #GlobalGovernance #Accountability #LawAndOrder

  • Standing Up Against Authority: A Paradox in Fiction and Reality   In the realms of literature and film, characters who challenge unjust authority often become beloved icons, revered for their courage and moral integrity. These figures, from Atticus Finch in To Kill a Mockingbird to Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games, are celebrated for their resistance against oppressive systems. They inspire audiences with their bravery, standing as beacons of virtue and resilience. However, this admiration presents a striking paradox when juxtaposed with the real-world reactions to similar situations of tyranny or moral decay. Why is there such a disparity between our literary heroes and our real-life actions? Fiction offers a controlled environment where outcomes are designed to satisfy our sense of justice and ethical equilibrium. The narrative arc in stories often leads to a satisfying conclusion where the protagonist triumphs, or at least, their struggles are given profound meaning or recognition. This narrative certainty provides a psychological safety net for the reader or viewer. Contrastingly, real-world actions against authority come with significant risks: social ostracism, financial repercussions, and even physical danger. The absence of a guaranteed narrative closure or moral vindication makes real-life opposition a path fraught with uncertainty and hardship. Historical examples abound where individuals or groups who stood against corrupt systems faced dire consequences. From a psychological perspective, the discrepancy also lies in the realm of 'bystander effect', a phenomenon where individuals are less likely to help a victim when other people are present. This can be extended to societal inaction, where the presence of a larger group dilutes personal responsibility. Dr. Philip Zimbardo’s insights into the psychology of evil and inaction highlight how systemic structures and authority can profoundly influence individual behaviour, as shown in his Stanford prison experiment. To bridge the gap between our admiration for fictional rebels and our real-world actions, we must cultivate a culture that not only celebrates these characters but also supports real-life courage and whistleblowing. Institutions like the United Nations and various non-governmental organisations should play a role in this, but grassroots level support systems and protective laws are crucial. Encouraging transparency, accountability in leadership, and providing secure platforms for voicing dissent are vital steps in this direction.   “In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.” — Martin Luther King Jr. #EthicsInAction #MoralCourage #StandUp #SocialChange #LiteratureReflectsLife 📚✊
