Creative Leadership | Telling the story of Saudi Arabia | Government Advisory | Partner - Executive Creative Director @ Consulum | I do my own stunts

We’re big in Japan! (I’ve always wanted to say that! 😊) Anyway- I don’t often post about the work we do at Consulum. That’s because much of our work happens behind the scenes, collaborating with government institutions and leading national brands to help them think, communicate, act, and work in more creative ways. But today is different. Today, we’re in Japan, taking Saudi Arabia on a tour: 7 cities. 3 weeks. Over 2000 kilometers. We’re offering an authentic Saudi cultural experience while inviting people to visit the Saudi Pavilion at Expo Osaka 2025. Long queues for coffee, food, music, and an immersive heritage experience. Our first stop was Osaka, and it went incredibly well. We’ve now completed Kyoto and Kobe with similar success. Next up: Hiroshima, Fukuoka, Nagoya, and finally, Tokyo. In just 10 days, we’ve become the talk of the town in the Kansai region. Many visitors are already eager to experience the Expo, with the Saudi Pavilion at the top of their list. And we’re just getting started. It’s a special feeling to be involved in my third Expo; each one more exciting and unique than the last. So many people are making this possible—too many to name without leaving anyone out. You know who you are. But let me give a special shoutout to the special few from Consulum on the ground in Japan during these first few days: Omar Bitar, Rabih Choukeir, Leen Faraj, and Brent Fleeton. And a big thank you to our friends at FACT Tokyo, Dentsu Japan, Brence Dsa at INDI STUDIOS and all our other partners and friends. And now, with a little Japanese flair: Domo arigato, Mr. Roboto! #SaudiArabia #ExpoOsaka2025 #CulturalDiplomacy #Activation #SaudiToursJapan #KobeWheresTheBeef?

  • A day of insights, collaboration, and celebration at Consulum’s Riyadh Office. Consulum advisors from across the GCC recently gathered at our Riyadh office to mark another year of growth and success in Saudi Arabia. Colleagues from Bahrain, the UAE, and London shared their key takeaways from 2024 throughout a development day designed to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and experiences. The day wrapped up with an informal office celebration at the offices in KAFD, acknowledging the hard work and commitment of the team driving our success. #Consulum #Growth #Collaboration

Government Advisory | Driving Transformative Strategy, Policy, and Communication Solutions with a Focus on Sustainability 🇨🇦 ➡️ 🌍

30 degrees in London, and the city grinds to a sweaty halt. Living in the Gulf, where 40+ is just a normal Tuesday, it hits differently. This week, the Financial Times highlighted how European cities are racing to adapt to rising temperatures, most by "turning to nature" and rethinking urban design. But here in the Gulf, people have been designing for heat for centuries. In #KSA, traditional #Najdi mudbrick homes were built with thick walls and shaded courtyards to keep the heat out. In the #UAE, #Barjeel wind towers pulled air through homes to cool them long before AC. You can still see the influence of those ideas in places like #MasdarCity #Diriyah, and #Riyadh. It’s clear that climate adaptation solutions can come from anywhere. Maybe we just need to look East, or South, a little more often. #UrbanDesign #SustainableCities #ClimateAdaptation #ClimateResilience https://lnkd.in/gwcaup4N
