🎉 Celebrating the Retirement of Stuart Noble, Co-Founder and Managing Director of CPS After over three decades of leadership and dedication, we’re both proud and a little emotional to announce the retirement of one of our founders, Stuart Noble. Stuart’s remarkable journey began at just 16 as an apprentice at Dale Electric (now Dale Power Solutions), where he honed his wiring skills. By 1980, Stuart had joined Archer Industrial Systems, quickly progressing from panel wiring to leadership roles in purchasing and sales. In 1994, Stuart and Dave Darrell took a leap of faith and co-founded Control and Power Systems (CPS). With Dave focusing on engineering and Stuart driving sales and operations, they worked tirelessly, days, nights, and weekends, to establish the business. Fast forward 30 years, CPS has grown into a multimillion-pound company. Stuart’s leadership and vision have been instrumental in shaping CPS into the thriving business it is today, fostering a workplace culture that values teamwork, loyalty, and mutual respect. Reflecting on his journey, Stuart said: “When we started, business was built on friendships and face-to-face interactions. Things are different now, but what hasn’t changed is the importance of relationships and the culture we’ve built at CPS. I’m incredibly proud of the team and the business we’ve created together.” As Stuart enters a well-earned retirement, he looks forward to perfecting his golf swing, traveling in his motorhome, and exploring life at a slower pace. Paul I’Anson, a CPS Director and one of the company’s first apprentices, will lead the team alongside Engineering Director Charles Spence, following Stuart’s retirement. Stuart is confident in their ability to guide the business into the future. “CPS is a family. Paul and Charles understand the business and care deeply about our people and customers.
