What a memorable day we had last week. Cormac, in partnership with Corserv Care and the Education Business Partners team Cornwall Council, hosted the "Be The Change" event designed to connect with NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) young people - those who are often hard to reach. Alongside the Cornwall Rural Community Charity, which empowers young individuals aged 16-24 with special educational needs, we created a space for inspiration and growth. One of the standout moments was a practical K'Nex bridge-building workshop led by our own Andy Wallis! 🎉 Participants teamed up to design and construct bridges that could support a specified load. This hands-on activity promoted problem-solving, teamwork, and creativity - skills that our civil engineers use daily. It was inspiring to see the enthusiasm and creativity these young individuals brought to the table! 💼🔧 We are incredibly proud to be part of such a meaningful collaboration that fosters growth and development for young individuals in our community. Let's continue to support and empower the next generation! 💡✨ 💪 #BeTheChange #CareerDevelopment #CommunitySupport #YouthEmpowerment #CornwallCommunity
