Cider is a classic summer drink, but at Cranes, we wanted to be able to offer a cider perfect for winter. That’s why we crafted our festive Mulled Cider, combining cranberries, oranges, and cinnamon—perfect for stockists and customers to enjoy all year round. In our latest video, Ben shares the decision making process behind this seasonal favourite🍂🍎

Refreshingly natural cider owned by twin brothers Ben & Dan
About us
Cranes Ciders were founded by twin brothers Ben & Dan Ritsema back in 2012. After discovering at university just how much sugar went into the fruit ciders which were already on the market, they decided to break the mould and take on the big companies and launch a healthier alternative, creating Cranes range of natural fruit ciders. Cranes portfolio includes; 4% fruit ciders, handcrafted using the most premium superfruits to deliver a refreshing natural cider - Blueberries & Apples - Cranberries & Limes - Lemons & Kumquats - Raspberries & Pomegranates As well as a medium-dry 4.8% Premium Apple Cider and a 0.5% Low Alc alternative Available in stores, pubs and bars across the UK and online @ drinkcranes.shop

What's the link between entrepreneurship and dyslexia? Did you know that a significant proportion of entrepreneurs are dyslexic? According to studies, around 35% of entrepreneurs are dyslexic, far exceeding the 10% occurrence in the general population. But why is that? Growing up with dyslexia, I often heard that dyslexic individuals excel as entrepreneurs because they develop alternative ways to navigate challenges in school. Their unique perspective and problem-solving skills become invaluable assets in the business world. While this is undoubtedly true, I believe there's more to it. Motivation plays a crucial role. Dyslexic individuals often face feelings of inadequacy within the academic system, driving them to prove themselves in other domains. I feel the innate drive to succeed, fueled by a desire to overcome past struggles, is the real key. Looking back at my experience with Cranes Cider I think any sane person may have given up. However, through an unconscious feeling of inadequacy. Failure just wasn't an option, and as a result Benjamin Ritsema and I have defied the odds and got the business to where it is now. Dyslexia teaches resilience, creativity, and an unwavering determination to defy expectations. And I wouldn't have it any other way, though I would like to be less reliant on spell check 😇. 💪 #Dyslexia #Entrepreneurship #Innovation

Got this Facebook memory yesterday from 11 years ago. How things have changed, if I knew of all the ups and downs that would prevail over the next 11 years, I think my 22 year old self would have struggled for motivation. It's amazing what blind optimism and naivety can help you achieve haha 🤣🤣. Also thanks Jackie Ritsema for being our first customer and all the support along the way. #flashbackfriday #entrepreneurship #rollercoaster
