Own Art is celebrating its 20th anniversary, and as proud credit partner of the scheme for over 17 years, we at Novuna are celebrating with them! Own Art offers our interest-free loans to buy original artwork work through a network of over 300 galleries, art fairs and artist-led organisations across the UK. The scheme is operated by Creative United UK and supported by Arts Council England, Creative Scotland, Arts Council of Northern Ireland and Arts Council of Wales. Since launching in 2004, Own Art has: ✅ Provided over 80,000 loans for the purchase of original artwork – financially supporting both independent retailers and individual artists ✅ Helped more than 50,000 art buyers to own the art they love - many of whom were purchasing art for the first time and could not have done so without Novuna ✅ Boosted the UK’s vibrant visual arts sector with more than £79 million in sales This year, Own Art is opening up to galleries in Wales, making it a national scheme for the first time.
