Helping SMEs unlock their potential.

About us

Credit Passport is the first Credit Score for SMEs based on behavioural OpenBanking Data. As well as teaching SMEs how to improve and be as financially stable as possible, and therefore gain access the best finance offers, it also allows solid SMEs to communicate their status to their customers and suppliers via a Credit Passport website badge or certificate. It is made available direct to SMEs on CreditPassport.com - and via partners using our Credit Gateway API. Banks can resell Credit Passport - or offer it to their SME business customers to increase loyalty and create a discussion around improving their credit worthiness without the legal risk of discussing their internal assessments. Lenders can use the API to score individual SMEs as part of their origination process, or to track their SME portfolio in one place. Thus reducing the asymmetry of information when lending to companies that bank elsewhere, and ensuring the most competitive rates. The Credit Passport score is based on the Bank of England's latest definition of Probability of Default, and validated following Basel II recommendations to align fully with banks internal rating systems. CRIF Realtime Ltd., a London-based Fintech regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, has created Credit Passport®, the Business Credit Score for SMEs. CRIF Realtime Ltd. is part of CRIF, a global company specialising in the development of credit bureau services, business information systems and credit solutions, which operates in more than +40 countries in four continents (Europe, America, Africa and Asia). With over 10,500 banks, 600 insurance companies and 82,000 business clients in 50 countries, CRIF constantly innovates to harness the power of data and solutions, enabling its clients to streamline decision-making and accelerate digital innovation.
