As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting local communities, we are pleased to share that our South West division recently sponsored Stoke Lane AFC U12 Girls, donating 18 winter coats to support the team on behalf of their Brooklands Park development in Bristol. Steph Hempenius, coach for Stoke Lane U12 girls said: “We want to thank Crest Nicholson for the sponsorship money towards our winter coats to keep us warm during training and matches throughout the winter months. With the cost of living on the rise and potentially having to ask parents to pay out for a new coat, this donation has eased that financial burden. With this generous donation, we can now look like a smart unified team and the girls are very proud to be wearing them.” Sponsoring local organisations is one way we aim to deliver positive impacts in the communities in which we operate and we are proud to support Stoke Lane AFC U12 Girls, we look forward to cheering them on throughout the rest of the season.

Last weekend, our Westwood Park sales team in the West Midlands, joined forces with nearby St John’s Church to host a community carol service, bringing some festive cheer to the development and the local community. Guests enjoyed mince pies and hot chocolate before gathering around the Christmas tree for some festive singing. This month our teams have been showing their support for our charity partner Young Lives vs Cancer and yesterday we were pleased to hold a company wide Christmas Jumper Day, embracing festive fashion to raise money for this worthy cause. The highlight of the day was hearing directly from Jack who shared with us how the charity has supported him and his family, along with the brave and inspiring fundraising efforts he has undertaken since. In addition to Christmas jumpers, our Midlands and South West divisions donated essential supplies and Christmas decorations to the charity's homes from home, where families can stay for free whilst their children are receiving treatment . We are proud to partner with this fantastic charity and look forward to continuing our partnership with Young Lives vs Cancer, and even more fundraising events in the year ahead.

We're pleased to share that our Yorkshire division has secured planning approval to deliver 233 new homes in Elland, West Yorkshire. This represents another momentous step forward in our commitment to create thriving new communities and delivering high quality homes across Yorkshire. The development will offer a diverse range of energy-efficient homes, from one to five bedrooms and is located close to the planned Elland railway station which will connect the town to the existing Wigan to Leeds and Bradford to Huddersfield routes. Opening the doors to a show home, is an exciting milestone for our teams and our customers and we're delighted to share that our Eastern division are launching show homes across four of their developments in the region. Last weekend, we celebrated the official opening of a four bed Winkfield at Crown Meadows, Faversham and a three bed Seaton and four bed Dartford at Aspen Grange in Stowmarket. Crown Meadows will deliver 88 much needed two to five bedroom homes, with Aspen Grange delivering 258 two to five bedroom homes. The team are planning a further two launches in the new year, with show homes opening for our customers at Saffron Fields in Red Lodge and Westcombe Park, Heybridge.

We're pleased to announce that our Chiltern division has secured planning consent to deliver a further 79 new homes at the Lewin Park development in Langford, Bedfordshire. The new phase will offer a diverse range of energy-efficient homes, from one to five bedrooms, all featuring PV panels and Electric Vehicle Charging Points. In addition we have committed nearly £3 million to fund improvements in local amenities, education, and healthcare. Our Eastern division are delighted to sponsor the U10 AM Pro Leiston Lionesses, who got off to a roaring start this season with new kit on behalf of our community at Henley Gate in Ipswich. The team play an active role in the community, inspiring more girls to get involved in football. We wish them the very best of luck for the season ahead!

We're excited to share that our Eastern division has secured planning permission for 125 new homes in Brentwood, Essex, where we will deliver a mix of one, two, three and four bedroom houses and apartments. Out of the 125 homes, six will be available for self-build, and 44 designated as affordable. As well as homes equipped with PV solar panels and Electric Vehicle Charge Points, the site will include wildlife-friendly features such as bird and bat boxes and hedgehog highways throughout the development. In addition, we will contribute nearly £3 million to fund improvements in highways, create cycling lanes, and invest in local amenities, education, and healthcare. We're pleased to announce that we have secured Reserved Matters planning approval to deliver 200 high-quality new homes in Hailsham, East Sussex. The development, delivered by our South division, will provide a mix of one to five bedroom homes, all of which will be equipped with Electric Vehicle Charging Points. In addition to the new homes, the site will include over 19 acres of Open Space, delivering natural greenspace, play areas, a full size football pitch and a 9v9 football pitch with changing facilities.
