  • This week, James McGowan and Joe Mason had the privilege of being invited to Dudley College of Technology, where CHtM has collaborated closely for nearly two decades. As part of the college's activities for National Apprenticeship week James and Joe were pleased to participate in a Q and A session offering career advice to students interested in starting an apprenticeship journey. They took to the stage at the Dudley College Theatre where they shared stories of their experiences both past and present, in addition to some key takeaways for the students' to consider as they begin their career journeys. Thank you to Dudley College's outstanding hosts, Emily North and Chloe Powell, Dudley’s employment engagement managers for inviting James and Joe to join this event. National Apprenticeship Week has provided a great opportunity for us to engage with our current apprentices, in addition to those at the beginning of their career journeys, and we look forward to seeing their continued achievements in the future. #NAW2025 #Apprenticeships #chtm

  • As part of our focus on National Apprentice Week we interviewed some of our colleagues who are currently on our professional apprenticeship programme.    Alfie Janeway joined our programme in 2024, and is part of the team based on our Beckton Sewage Treatment Works project.    When asked for any advice he would offer to students looking for a professional apprentice role he said:    "Keep going forward and stay focused on your end goal. Don’t get distracted by silly things or other people’s opinions. You get out what you put in and there’s a massive reward at the end of all"   You can read his full interview here - https://lnkd.in/gAkpxrFi. #NAW2025 #Apprenticeships #NationalApprenticeshipWeek

  • We’re proud to have played our part in the Everton Stadium, where we designed and manufactured MEP modules that enable the distribution of power, heating, ventilation, and water to all areas of the stadium. These were all manufactured off-site at our factory in Oldbury and transported to the project. In total we installed 260 MEP modules and 914 WCs. #EvertonStadium #Everton #construction

We successfully handed over Everton's new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock to Everton Football Club ahead of schedule before the Christmas holidays. Just 178 weeks since arriving on site we completed the construction of the 52,888-seater stadium. With the use of our integrated supply chain and modern methods of construction, we were able to manufacture more than 6,000 components off-site and deliver them to the project, providing certainty on programme. Our Project Director, Gareth Jacques, said: "I am incredibly proud of everything we have achieved on this project. The seamless collaboration between ourselves and our integrated supply chain was crucial to the completion of this stadium. “Everton FC plays such a huge role in the city of Liverpool and its people so when we took on the project, we wanted to make sure our work had a lasting impact as well as delivering an industry leading standard in operational excellence. To do this, we focused heavily on our social value initiatives to create job opportunities, engage with local schools, and raise money for local charities. “I feel fortunate to have worked on such a great project with some incredible people, the team has overcome many challenges and I’m sure everyone will look back on this stadium with fond memories and be proud of what they have achieved. I wish Everton FC all the best in their new home, this is a new era for the fans, and I hope it brings them many years of success and happiness.” Read our in-depth article on the stadium on our website: https://loom.ly/vOLbRrc

  • The CHtM sleigh is packed and ready! This year, the team at CHtM is proud to support the Birmingham City Mission present appeal, helping to sprinkle some magic and cheer over Christmas! Every Christmas, Birmingham City Mission gives gifts to thousands of families who are struggling to make ends meet. Many of their children would otherwise not receive Christmas presents, so the CHtM elves have been hard at work, knowing that the donations will make a positive impact and put a smile on the faces of the children this festive season. With the sleigh loaded and the spirit of giving in the air, the team at CHtM is excited to make the season special for many families and they wish everyone a very merry Christmas! #BirminghamCityMission #ChristmasSpirit #CHtM #CrownHouse
