This year, the Crucial FX team brought the thrill of New Year’s Eve to life… in the middle of June. In the height of summer, our expert team of content creators and creative technical specialists installed a multi-layered immersive music experience that has become a permanent highlight within the 🎶‘Music’ 🎶 area at Madame Tussauds New York. 🗽 We designed and delivered a spectacular dome projection and central screens, seamlessly blending storytelling content with integrated lighting, audio, and physical effects to create a truly multi-sensory experience. Whilst the sun shone over Monaco, we brought the rain indoors. This September in Monaco, we delivered something truly magical in partnership with our friends at Touch Associates. Together our specialist teams developed a complete technical design and content solution for a plenary session, including indoor rain projection and a 270 degree immersive stage show. Some key learnings for us: 💧Water makes for an unpredictable projection surface! Our team of specialist projectionists had a complete plan but we needed to be flexible and reactive onsite, responding to the rain and finessing the perfect visual. 💡 This was a BIG projection project, with content covering the large onstage screens and then exploding out to cover the side walls of this 2,000 seater theatre. Requiring a variety of projectors, high end servers and distribution, and a lot of technical expertise from our team. ✨ Big projection projects are only as good as the content created. Our in-house team really delivered. Developing creative that seamlessly integrated with the technical design making best use of this enormous canvas delivering a flowing, showstopping immersive stage show. ☎️ Looking for a team to help you deliver serious impact at your next event or brand activation? Nadia has always been interested in the relationship between content and technology, in particular how motion or camera tracking can give guests the power to have an influence on a visual experience. “I wanted to experiment with integrating different styles of cameras with motion tracking and motion-reactive content. A technical vision guiding us to event success 🚀 We are super passionate about technology at Crucial FX, when that passion and knowledge becomes the guiding principle behind a whole event, magical things can happen. When we took the driving seat on the non-traditional conference for Monster Energy, we made sure tech and innovation was improving audience engagement in every corner of the experience. From the hexagonal main stage arena packed full of SFX, to projection mapped breakout spaces, to the expo area - immersive tech took the lead💫

When the Crucial FX magic meets football 💫 We've been lucky enough to deliver footy activations all over the world. In this physical meets digital experience for The Coca-Cola Company, we managed green screen filming of a professional footballer, with footage and data seamlessly integrated into an interactive game, inviting visitors to take on the dribble challenge trying to beat the time set by the pro. When it comes to immersive experiences, we're always pushing to stay ahead of the curve. 💫 Did you know the Crucial FX magic was utilised to help launch the Beats Studio Wireless 3 headphones in Shanghai. Guests felt truly immersed, with curved 360 degree projection mapped visuals, using the new noise cancelling headphones to rise ‘above the noise’ of a busy city scene. The technical setup also included a bullet rig, exporting a unique GIF for each visitor to take away and share on socials.

Did you know that the Crucial FX magic has been harnessed in ways that are a little more permanent. We were proud to partner with our friends at GPJ to deliver an immersive, projection mapped room within the IBM HQ in Paris. Each wall was fully touch interactive, with a flexible and easy to use system allowing users to showcase video content, deliver presentations and more. Crucial FX managed the technical design, hardware sourcing, programming, and installation – including designing the intuitive Content Management System that allows us to trouble shoot and update remotely.
