October Highlights at Curious Brewery 🍂✨ October brought a mix of seasonal celebrations, exciting events, and meaningful moments. Here’s what we’ve been up to: 🎶 Brewery Beats Announcement: We’re thrilled to have launched Brewery Beats, moving from our beloved Spotify playlist to an in-person live music event in November. We can’t wait to see the brewery come alive with music and energy. 🍏 🍎 Apple Season & Cider Spotlight: We celebrated apple season by showcasing the Kentish Rubens and Bramley apples that make our cider distinct. This was an awesome chance to highlight the passion and local sourcing that go into every pour of our refined, 100% apple cider—no concentrates, just pure quality. 🎄🍽️ World Food Day & Christmas Menu Launch: To mark World Food Day, we brought attention to our new Christmas menu, with each dish perfectly paired with our premium beers and ciders. 🍂 🥮 Our kitchen embraced the season with an autumnal pumpkin tart, a nod to the flavours we love this time of year. We even turned one of our tables into a festive photoshoot, adding a sprinkle of holiday excitement. 🏃Curious Runners Event: We brought together our Curious Runners Club for an evening of interval training and post-run celebrations. Runners enjoyed our Curious brews, plus a special tasting from Athletic Brewing Co.—a great mix of accomplishment and community. 🍻 🎃 👻 Halloween Fun: We capped off the month with some spooky fun, sending October out in style. This month, we launched our Brewer’s Bookshelf—an evolving resource aimed at inspiring beer enthusiasts, aspiring brewers, and the beer-curious to learn more. From tasting tips to food pairings, we’re here to nurture your curiosity. World Tourism Day: The perfect opportunity to highlight our brewery tour and tasting experiences. We welcomed explorers of all kinds to go behind the scenes at our award-winning brewery—from seeing the brewing process firsthand to enjoying a guided tasting of our premium beers and cider. Sharing our passion for exploration is a big part of who we are! Oktoberfest at CuriousBrewBar: We're ending the month with our own Oktoberfest at the Brewery Bar & Restaurant! Behind the Brews: Matt's Journey This International Beer Day, we're shining a spotlight on one of the many talented brewers here at Curious Brewery. Meet Matt Anderson, our Chief Operating Officer and Master Brewer. Here's a glimpse into his journey and what makes our brewery special. How long have you been with Curious Brewery, and what does your role entail? "I've been with Curious Brewery for 6 amazing years. As COO, I oversee Production, Logistics, and Retail, ensuring our products are safe, high-quality, and delivered on time. My role is all about maintaining the excellence of our brews and the safety of our team and customers." Can you briefly describe your path to becoming a Master Brewer? "I count myself very lucky to have spent the last 18 years doing something that I love. When I left University, I really didn’t have an idea what I wanted to do, so I got a temporary job at Stag Brewery in London while I was deciding… and that was really the start of my journey. I’ve brewed over 1 billion pints of Budweiser, Stella Artois, Becks, and Boddingtons, and worked at Samlesbury Brewery with the fastest beer bottling line in Europe. In 2018, I moved to Kent to build Curious Brewery… and the rest is history!" What’s your favourite Curious Beer or Cider and why? "Curious Lager is definitely my favourite – I really like the complexity and depth that you don’t get with most lagers." Raise a glass to Matt’s dedication and passion for brewing. From our premium lagers and session IPAs to our refreshing ciders, we invited you to pick your favourite poison from our diverse selection. Father's Day 👨👧👦 We honoured all the amazing dads with a special offer that allowed you to give back and celebrate them in style. Beer Day Britain 🇬🇧 On Beer Day Britain, we got curious about the rich brewing heritage of our nation and honoured the tradition that inspires our craft.
