She encourages active hope, urging individuals to organize and take collective action. This book is a timely, accessible resource for anyone seeking to understand the interconnectedness of climate, racial, and social justice and how we can mobilize for transformative change. Think of the environment this holiday season Around 227,000 miles of Christmas paper is thrown away every year, that’s around 108 million rolls of paper. Recycling all of this paper would use 70% less energy than making it from raw materials. One ton of recycled wrapping paper could save 17 trees, 18 square feet of landfill space and 4000 kilowatts of energy. Be curious! Buy recyclable wrapping paper from 100% paper in Earthian Zero Waste Shop Buy recycled greetings cards or send digital cards made in Canva Skip the wrapping paper completely and use reusable gift bags from @pinclothing.co.uk #ZeroWasteChristmas #Recycle #BeCurious #CuriousEarth #SustainableChristmas #ZeroWasteChristmas #EcoChristmas #ReusableGiftWrap #Sustainability

Could cutting food waste be a climate “emergency brake”? Food waste is a major problem for the climate and at COP29, the UN unveiled plans to cut methane emissions by reducing food waste, by up to 84%. Methane has been rising rapidly since the early 2000s and is responsible for a third of all global heating today. This new agreement aims to reduce human-made methane emissions by 30% by 2030.
