As fantastic as this year has been, it did not come without its challenges... The Red Sea Crisis reshaped the container shipping market bringing new challenges to global trade. At Delamode, we remained committed to ensuring supply chain continuity and resilience throughout. We adapted to customer demands, which meant that we had peak shipping alongside peak outbounding, and this year we saw a 127% increase on inbound shipments in comparison to September 2023. Navigating the crisis has shown our ability remain flexible and quickly respond to changes in the market. #redseacrisis #2024wrapped

Another great year for Delamode is coming to an end - and we'd like to say the biggest THANK YOU to our staff who have supported us throughout! 13 people celebrated more than 10 years of working with us, with over 210 years of collective experience under their belts - we'd like to congratulate and thank them all! Everyone went above and beyond this year but we'd like to say a special thank you to those who stepped up to the nightshift which ran between 22 September and 4 December and all those who worked additional hours during this peak. Jordan Kear passed his Level 3 Learning Mentor Apprenticeship, gaining a distinction with full marks awarded which is a fantastic achievement, one which all the people he trains will benefit from as well.   These are just a few of our staff's fantastic achievements this year and we're so proud of them - here's to a fantastic new year!

As we get ready to welcome the new year, let's look back on our journey in 2024 and celebrate the fantastic year it's been! We've certainly been busy and here's just some of what we got up to... 🫂 We won the Investors in People accreditation, showing our unwavering commitment to our employees 🔝 We made it to the CILT Top 10 SMEs for the year 🏆 We had the pleasure of hosting Clare Bottle FCILT 🇺🇦🕊 and the UK Warehousing Association team for the grand finale of #2024YearofWarehosuing. ⚽ We sponsored an amazingly talented girls football team. 🥇 We won the UK Warehousing Association Excellence in customer service award 🕴 We had a fantastic time attending the Multimodal logistics & Supply Chain event 📈 We hosted a variety of initiatives in support of our charity partner Naomi House & Jacksplace raising over £9480. 🍽️ We attended a luncheon at the House of Lords. Our teams are feeling extra festive this week.... Why? Because our little helpers from the North Pole, Del & Mo are back for another round of Christmas fun! The little elves visited our Coordinators teams, and helped them with the difficult task of finishing a box of chocolates, among other things... Then, they visited the Freight Forwarding team, where they assisted with the filing and vessel tracking. Which team do you think they'll visit next?

We're reaching the end of 2024 and what better time to look back on our year so far, starting with celebrating our partnership with Naomi House & Jacksplace. We've had a fantastic year supporting our charity partner in their mission to provide expert hospice care to life limited and life threatened children and young adults who have complex healthcare needs in central southern England. With many initiatives ran throughout the year, from bake sales, to end of line stock sale and our most recent holiday toy sale, we're proud to have raised over £9480 to support them. The logistics industry is making great strides toward greener transportation solutions, and Delamode International Logistics is proud to support this shift. Just in 2023 our solar panels generated 2314487Kw across both of our warehouses... To put these big numbers into perspective, the average household uses about 3500Kw per year - this means our green every could power about 660 average households. We're proud to be taking part in activities that drive meaningful change in our industry.
