Head of Academy at The Parks Academy

The most wonderful experience for our children! Thank you so much Hull & East Yorkshire Children's University 💙💙

We have had a wonderful morning at The Parks Primary Academy all thanks to our gold partners Sewell Group. ‘Breakfast with Santa’ is not just about presents. It’s about creating a magical experience and memories to last a lifetime. The Sewell Group elves made every single child feel special and these smiles just say it all! Zayn was over the moon with his gift. “My two favourite things are Spider-Man and cars. I can’t believe Santa managed to get me a Spider-Man car!” Thanks so much to Sewell Group for carefully selecting such awesome gifts and gifting these children the most magical morning. ❤️💚❤️

What a fantastic end to our ION Roadshow! 🌟 Our final event of the year at Sage HQ in Newcastle was a sold-out success, bringing together Trusts from all across the North to learn about Sage Intacct for Education. We had the honour of hearing about the future of Sage Intacct from Sage's very own VP Paul O'Riordan and ended the session on a high with a live case study and Q&A with David Pitchfork and Amanda Small from Delta Academies Trust where we really got into the ins and outs of financial transformation for MATs. We want to say a huge thank you to all our guests for joining us, and to Paul O'Riordan and Sage for hosting us. And of course a special shoutout to our guest speakers David and Amanda for being so honest and open about their financial transformation journey. Your insights were invaluable and greatly appreciated! Check out some highlights from the event below! 📸 #SageIntacct #MATFinance #EducationFinance #SageIntacctForEducation #SagePartner

  • Last week a group of Year 11 students from both Delta and Coast and Vale participated in this year's Science Mavericks, a thrilling event that pushed their scientific boundaries. From estimating plant populations with quadrats to exploring electrolysis and chemical analysis, they tackled a range of challenges. We're incredibly proud of their hard work and dedication. A huge congratulations to the winning teams from Darton and Melior! 🏆 Here's what some of our students had to say: 🧪 "Mavericks today has been an amazing learning experience..." - Ella, Serlby Park 🧪 "I loved the competitive nature..." - Student, Lady Lumley's 🧪 "It was very enjoyable and totally worthwhile..." - Amber, Melior 🧪 "The intro music, the lighting, the backstory, everything was brilliant..." - Rocky, Carlton le Willows 🧪 "The whole experience was really insightful..." - Ruby, Manor Croft We are so grateful that we are able to share these opportunities through collaboration with other trusts and comparing different ways of teaching to ensure the best outcomes for all our students.
