Behind the Curtain For our first networking event of the year, we went behind the scenes at the Millennium Forum Theatre & Conference Centre. From the grandeur of the main stage, the technical marvels of the fly floors, the stars' dressing rooms, - we saw it all and learned how world-class performances come to life. UFU to hold tractor rallies in protest against family farm tax As part of a UK wide day of action on Saturday 25 January in protest against the Inheritance Tax changes to Agricultural and Business Property Relief, the Ulster Farmers’ Union is holding six tractor runs, one in each county, in Northern Ireland. Derry Chamber were delighted to host Department for Infrastructure Minister John O'Dowd MLA for a Fireside Chat at the The City Hotel Derry. Members had the chance to hear directly from the Minister on the developments, challenges, and future plans for the North West region. Hear from the Minister below: "Let's give people hope that Derry is in a better place, the North West is in a better place, than it was ten years ago, and I have no doubt that it's going to be in a much better place next year and the year after that moving forward"

Derry Chamber were delighted to meet with Department for the Economy NI Minister Conor Murphy as part of a 26 member business coalition, representing members and workers across Northern Ireland, to discuss the pressing issue of rates relief for businesses in light of recent increases to Employer National Insurance Contributions.
