🚍🎄 Late-night transport for Safe and Festive City Visits! 🎅🚅 We are delighted to support Translink's late-night bus, coach and train services starting tomorrow, 30th November! In partnership with Belfast's Business Improvement Districts Belfast One BID Linen Quarter BID, Belfast's Night Czar Michael Stewart, HOSPITALITY ULSTER, Visit Belfast, fonaCAB (Belfast) Limited. and VALUE CABS LIMITED, these services will ensure safe and festive city visits. Late-night buses will run Fridays and Saturdays from midnight to 1:30am, with additional services connecting Belfast to towns across Northern Ireland. Operating every weekend until 21st December, this initiative plays a key role in supporting the night-time economy. Reliable and safe transport options help keep our local businesses, restaurants and entertainment venues bustling late into the night. This initiative not only strengthens the local economy but also enhances the vibrant nightlife in our city, ensuring everyone can enjoy their festive outings and get home safely. Our last First Aid session of 2024, in partnership with Staff Nursing Ltd | Staff Training NI, took place this morning. ⛑️ We have facilitated these sessions on a monthly basis this year for CQ BID Members and it has increased skills and confidence in First Response for over 120 individuals that work in the CQ BID area. This is part of our 'Safer, Cleaner, Greener' remit and our vision to make Cathedral Quarter the most welcoming and safest area in the city to visit. #cathedralquarterBID #cqBID #businessimprovementdistrict #firstaid #safercleanergreener

Last Thursday saw the second Masterclass for the ILM Diploma in Management and Leadership. The Masterclass, led by JP Taggart and Seán Grant saw enthusiastic participation from 18 individuals from organisations in the CQ BID area. During this session, held at The Mac, the group focused on preparing Pecha Kucha talks for the upcoming presentations next month. Following this, the group explored the topic of Emotional Intelligence. Participants in this programme meet monthly and will continue to do so until the completion of the programme in June 2025, when they will be awarded their Level 3 ILM Diploma in Management. CQ BID has facilitated this upskilling initiative to support the professional growth of managers within the BID area, ensuring that they are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to lead effectively in today’s dynamic business environment. By investing in leadership development, CQ BID aims to foster a thriving and competitive business community in Belfast. This programme is a fully funded Level 3 ILM Diploma in Management, offered by CQ BID in partnership with Lear Training, Apprenticeships NI, and DfE. With Christmas party planning underway, Translink has announced its late-night bus, coach and train services starting Saturday, 30th November. Partnering with Belfast's Business Improvement Districts, HOSPITALITY ULSTER , Visit Belfast, and local taxi, the goal is to encourage public transport for festive visits to the city, with transport options for getting home. Late-night Belfast Metro services will run every Friday and Saturday from midnight until 1:30am. Additional Goldliner/Urby buses and later rail services will also operate, connecting Belfast to other towns across Northern Ireland.
