We are acting as joint financial adviser, nomad and corporate broker to our long-standing client, Learning Technologies Group plc (LTG), on its recommended acquisition by Leopard UK Bidco Limited. We have been joint broker to LTG since 2011 and have advised on a number of M&A and capital raises since then, supporting the company in growing its market capitalisation from £15m to approximately £800m. LTG is a key player in the growing workplace digital learning and talent management market, offering end-to-end solutions to a customer base that includes over 6,000 organisations. This transaction reinforces Deutsche Numis’ position as a leading M&A adviser within the UK and represents our 32nd public M&A transaction (with an equity value of £200m+) as financial adviser since 2022. #MergersandAcquisitions #Deal #InvestmentBanking

At Deutsche Numis, we were so pleased to help support One Day, Deutsche Bank’s fundraiser for its UK Charity of the Year, Dementia UK. A fantastic outcome – thank you to all who donated.
£520,762 raised in support of Dementia UK 🙏 Back in September, we celebrated One Day, our annual fundraiser for the UK Charity of the Year, which offers Deutsche Bank staff the opportunity to donate a day’s salary. This year’s One Day was in support of Dementia UK, and we are delighted that collectively with the bank’s matched giving, an incredible £520,762 has been raised! Dementia is an urgent health and social care crisis with far too many people not receiving the help they need, pushing them to their physical, mental, and financial limits. But the right support can be life-changing – and that’s where Dementia UK comes in. Funds raised on One Day will enable Dementia UK to help over 15,000 more families affected by dementia across the UK to access the vital support of one of Dementia UK’s specialist Admiral Nurses, helping to build a future where no one has to face dementia alone. A huge thank you to our employees for their generous support! #OneDay #DBCotY #DementiaUK #CSR #DeutscheBank

Deutsche Numis is once again partnering with The King's Trust for its annual Christmas Carol Concert, along with headline partner Cunard. Guests to St Paul’s Church in Knightsbridge on 9 December will enjoy candlelit carols, musical performances and readings from celebrity guests. We are proud to support the trust’s charitable work, which has been instrumental in improving the lives of disadvantaged young people in the UK. Founded in 1976 by His Majesty The King, the trust has helped more than one million young people into work, education and training. The Christmas Carol Concert helps to support the trust’s important work and is a wonderful start to the festive season. #WeAreDeutscheNumis

What is the current preferred exit route for UK private equity professionals? Our latest report, ‘UK Private Equity M&A Outlook’, which surveyed 200 senior sponsors, reveals that private auctions are the preferred exit in the current environment, having ranked as the least preferred option last year. The improving financing markets, potentially reduced expectations around viability of continuation funds and limited IPO exits during 2024 could all be factors. As covered by The Times last week, our recent research revealed that private equity sponsors are demonstrating a significantly increased interest in UK public assets this year, with 26% of respondents to our UK Private Equity M&A Outlook 2024 survey viewing the asset class as their main pipeline focus (up 12 percentage points on last year). This pivot likely reflects sponsors’ views that private assets are relatively more overvalued than public assets (61% consider private assets as overvalued, compared with 39% for public assets). At the same time, with more respondents having successfully undertaken a public-to-private in 2024 (66% this year, versus 52% last year), greater experience in executing these transactions appears to be a factor in this heightened interest.
