Hello, Instagram friends! Today I would like to share with you something I have been reflecting on recently. You know how conversations with a good friend often drift into those big “whys” that keep you going? Well, that is what happened to me over coffee recently and I ended up sharing why I changed careers eight years ago. Looking back, I realise that a lot of formative experiences had led me to increasingly appreciate the effect that transforming spaces has on us as human beings. Those who know me well will tell you that I find true happiness in bringing joy to others. The moment I realised this, I felt gifted with the key to open the door of my own interior design studio. Today what I offer to my clients is more than just design - it is a listening ear to understand what makes their hearts sing when they walk into a space. The mission for my team and I is then to serve them by bringing that vision to life. Every project is unique. For one family, a calm, minimal space might reflect their desire for serenity and simplicity. For another, a vibrant, colourful environment might capture their lively spirit. Every choice, from colours to textures, is made with the intent to uplift and inspire everyone who lives there — adults and children alike! Growing up in a harmonious and inspiring home has the power to shape a child's joy, creativity, and confidence. It is incredibly humbling to know that the spaces we create become the backdrop for important life moments, where families make memories, celebrate milestones, and navigate challenges. Being part of that journey is a privilege I cherish, and I am grateful for every client who trusts us to bring their dreams to life. Incorporating plants into your interior is one of the best ways to make a space truly come into its own. If you want to add a bit of warmth, texture or a sense of serenity, greenery the best friend you are looking for. If you don’t have a green thumb, don’t worry! There are amazing faux plant alternatives on the market today that look just as beautiful. For example, in one of our recent projects, we chose a faux olive tree since our Client is not there to water the tree regularly, having a primary place of residence elsewhere. Whatever you do, make sure to add that touch of greenery along with other accessories like artwork, candles and cushions to create a space that feels warm and inviting!
