With 40% of the UK's consumption-based carbon emissions coming from manufacturing, Digital Catapult aims to drive industrial decarbonisation through deep tech innovations. Yesterday, we showcased twelve technology SMEs developing sustainable manufacturing solutions as part of our latest accelerators with BAE Systems and HS2 (High Speed Two) Ltd. Accelerator participant Roger Singleton, PhD CEng, CEO at Riskoa, shares: 💬 “I quite like the short and sharp nature of this programme and I was pretty clear when I came in that it wasn’t about the money, it is about learning the gaps, so the key part for me was about learning what I needed to do and that was really the main aspect for me. It’s absolutely delivered for me in terms of that. It’s been great. I needed to know where we had work to do. That’s my main takeaway.” Accelerator participant Anas Achouri, CEO & Founder at DONAA, also highlighted: 🌟 “For me, the event was a success in the sense that I was able to implement the feedback I have received from the coaches and different trainings about my pitch.
