We are very pleased to announce that two new investors have joined our investor base with a combined investment worth approximately £70 million* and that our valuation has nearly doubled to £550 million, only two years after our Series D. We welcome Apis Global Growth Fund III SCSp, the lead investor in the transaction, managed by Apis Partners - a prominent investor in high-growth, impactful global financial services and technology businesses. Amundi - Europe’s leading asset manager - also joins who will be represented by our existing investor Breega (in which Amundi is an investor). Together, both investors will play an important role in accelerating the next phase of development and growth for Moneybox. The transaction will mainly be facilitated through a secondary share sale, with existing investors selling 10-15% of the current share capital. However, it won’t just be institutional investors who have the ability to sell. We’ve enabled the rest of our shareholder community, including eligible employees, Crowd investors and customer (Reward Shares) shareholders - around 35,000 people - the opportunity to participate and sell 10% of their shareholdings. We’re delighted to be able to facilitate this and recognise the hard work of our team and our investors, many of whom have supported us since inception, to realise some of the value of their investment and benefit from the company’s strong growth trajectory. This transaction highlights Moneybox's strong market position, having achieved our first full year of profitability over a year ago and recently surpassing £10 billion in AUA. In the last fiscal year alone, we’ve successfully scaled revenues by 168% and AUA per customer by 46%. We are excited about the incredible opportunity ahead and will continue our focus helping millions of people build wealth so they can live the life that they want. - Moneybox Co-founders, Ben Stanway & Charlie Mortimer *Subject to approval by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

Turn your money into something greater with Moneybox.
About us
At Moneybox, we help you turn your money into something greater. Millions of us want to achieve more with our money. But whether we’re looking to save for a rainy day, grow our money, buy a home, or even build a retirement fund, we leave it at the bottom of our to-do lists because we're not sure how to get started. This isn’t surprising. We aren’t taught about financial planning at school, the wealth industry was built to serve a minority, and it often feels like banks don’t care about helping us achieve outcomes. To top it off, the financial services industry is fragmented and confusing. This means that our money often isn’t working hard enough and our goals are much harder to achieve. So, we made a solution. We've brought saving, investing, home-buying, and retirement services together into one simple app. So people can reach their goals and build wealth with confidence, whatever their starting point. We want to help people build wealth, but our mission goes beyond that. We believe that building wealth isn’t simply about accumulating more money. It’s about going after the life you want and enjoying it to the fullest, today and tomorrow. This is what it means to turn your money into something greater.

We’re delighted to share that Moneybox has ranked in the prestigious Deloitte UK Technology Fast 50 for the fifth year running. 🙌 We’re very proud to have been recognised once again as one of the UK’s fastest-growing tech companies, ranking 23rd in the list of 50 - up three places from last year. Rankings are based on percentage revenue growth over the last three years, and Moneybox grew by 1399% during this period. We have also surpassed £10 billion in assets under administration and achieved a market valuation of £550 million since last year’s ranking was published - all while helping people build wealth with confidence. Ben Stanway, Co-Founder and Executive Chair of Moneybox said: We’re delighted to be recognised for the fifth consecutive year in the Deloitte UK Technology Fast 50. Over the past decade, our dedicated team has built a vertically integrated proprietary tech platform and a radically customer-centric experience where people don’t have to have wealth to create wealth. "Today, we’re proud to serve over one million customers, helping them achieve their financial goals and build wealth with confidence. Our customers increasingly demonstrate that they want to use us for their wealth-building needs throughout life. As a result, AUA per customer has also increased by 46% in the last fiscal year alone. We believe Moneybox has a clear pathway to becoming a category-defining business, given the market opportunity, our differentiated focus, and the deeply embedded value in our customer base.” #DeloitteFast50 #MakingMoneybox

To celebrate Talk Money Week, TISA is spotlighting some of the incredible financial education initiatives from our member firms. Today, we’re excited to showcase our third member firm, Moneybox, a savings and investing app on a mission to help everyone build wealth and confidence. “Doing this one (free!) thing could have a big impact on your financial future. Our research found that people who dedicate time to their finances each week have the highest levels of financial confidence - regardless of their income level. This in turn has a positive impact on their financial goals: we also found that people who are more financially confident have net worth that is £65k higher on average than those with low financial confidence. So whether you spend it reviewing your budget or listening to a podcast about investing, setting aside just 30 minutes a week could help you make real progress towards your goals.” Source: Moneybox survey of 4,000 adults, December 2023 If you’d like to know more about TISA’s Financial Education Council and our work to enable every child to have an effective financial education, get in touch with Sophie Legrand-Green For free and impartial money guidance, @MoneyHelperUK can help with a whole range of guides and tools available to help you manage your money. The Moneybox team had a brilliant time learning and celebrating together this Black History Month. Here are some of our highlights: 🎤 Our Black Employee Network hosted their first panel event! In line with this year’s BHM theme - Reclaiming Narratives - Moneybox team members shared their stories as part of a panel discussion around breaking into the tech industry, followed by snacks, drinks and networking with almost 50 guests. ⚡Members of our Black Employee Network attended #BlackTechFest2024, a conference where tech companies and professionals come together to celebrate and amplify the contributions of black talent and innovation in the industry, in order to pave the way for a more inclusive future in tech. 🏳️🌈 Paul A. organised a week of scavenger hunts around the office to spotlight the contributions of black LGBTQ+ icons, including Bayard Rustin and Marsha P. Johnson. We can be a fairly competitive bunch - especially where @ Long Boy doughnuts are involved - and Nazmin M. from our Support team set a record for solving the riddle and locating the icon in 3 minutes flat! ❓We brought our BHM Quiz Night back for another year - packed with fun and educational questions, covering everything from culture and history to music and sports, this is always a fun way to learn together as a team. 🍩 All of this activity was fuelled by delicious food and drink from local black-owned businesses, including Suya Pit, Puff Puff Ministry, Dine with Sheeks, Chaps, Dark Sugars Chocolates, Nutrinana’s Granola, patties from Carnival Pot round the corner in Southwark, cupcakes from Cherry Treats, buns from Bun Dat Bakery (a Moneybox staple!), and Longboys doughnuts. A massive thank you to the brilliant Moneybox Black Employee Network - and especially our Network Leads Astrid Bunu and Michelle Mamudu - for organising this programme of fun and inspiring activities. 🙌 We’d love to hear how you celebrated #BlackHistoryMonth this year. 🔽
