Uzbekistan & Azerbaijan Presidents expand bilateral ties
In a recent meeting at the Kuksaroy the Presidents of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, engaged in focused discussions, followed by a broader session of the Supreme Interstate Council. The meeting, aimed at strengthening the strategic partnership between the two nations, produced several key outcomes. Both leaders declared the upcoming year as the “Year of Economic Cooperation” to bolster economic ties. They approved a detailed roadmap for implementing joint projects and established an interregional cooperation plan for 2025 to enhance regional connections. Additionally, a new partnership program was launched to advance industrial and infrastructure development in both countries. A comprehensive roadmap will be adopted to oversee and ensure the timely execution of these initiatives.
