What a wonderful community effort! The Tenby Chamber of Trade recently organised a successful meeting with Samuel Kurtz MS (Member of Parliament & Shadow Minister for Economy & Energy) and Stephen Crabb (Member of Parliament for Preseli, Pembrokeshire) to delve into crucial topics such as tourism, the economy, the 182-night parameter, and their potential long-term effects on our local economy, businesses, and employment. It was an honour for me to deliver the opening speech, sharing insightful real-time data on the occupancy statistics of the 5,900 holiday homes I monitor in Pembrokeshire. During our discussions, an unexpected opportunity emerged to introduce Discover Pembrokeshire C.I.C. to all participants. Discover Pembrokeshire is a non-profit community interest company dedicated to promoting businesses in Pembrokeshire (both directly and indirectly linked to tourism) through the advancement of cutting-edge systems and technologies, with a focus on automation. As a non-profit entity, all proceeds generated will be reinvested back into the community to enrich our remarkable destination and offerings.
