We are actively seeking an experienced Technical Designer to join our design team full-time in our offices in Thame, Oxfordshire. This is an amazing opportunity to work side-by-side with the design manager and project manager to deliver exceptional bespoke furniture. This role will include: Producing technical drawings for production and transforming 2D drawings into accurate and detailed 3D technical models for production within our CAD/CAM systems. Leveraging SolidWorks and Swood software to its fullest potential, ensuring maximum efficiency in modelling and design tasks Working closely with the Design Manager to develop and improve our technical systems and streamline workflows Working closely with the Design Manager and Production Manager to ensure 3D models align with our manufacturing capabilities, ensuring designs are efficient to manufacture and install. When it comes to this stunning study in Marylebone, it’s all in the detail. Working in collaboration with MWAI Architects and Interior Designers this gorgeous study was one of several rooms completed during the project. This exceptional study is crafted with distinctive, refined details, including brushed brass waxed handles by Joseph Giles Ltd and a complementary Phillip Jeffries Ltd wallpaper finish on the back of the cabinetry to blend seamlessly with the walls. Central suede-upholstered panels are set within a specialist counterbalanced sliding system, allowing effortless movement to reveal or conceal computer monitors as needed.
